How many of you guys breed blue dreams ? any tips ?
I had those but not so many :( I'm starting to 6. Blue on first now idint know how many 30?
I only start on 6 now my starter is gone? Now my blue shrimp is now on 20+? Cuz idont have equipment for that parasite .. :(
I have only 3 blue dreams no tips as yet!
Recently bought some fantasy blue shrimp (12 to be exact), not sure if their different from blue dream, im super new to keeping shrimp, they went into a 10 gallon rimless planted tank, learned how to drip acclimate from you, definitely enjoy your videos and continue to learn from you, hope everything is well and looking forward to any updates

They look neat. I wish I could breed shrimp but I tried with Ghost shrimp and just never could and red shrimp costed way to much.

Hi mark great video, i too am breeding blue dreams..started with 10..now they're in the hundreds. I was wondering if you could tell me what those little jelly-like things are stuck to the glass? (not the eggs you showed) as i have them in my red cherry shrimp tank and have no idea where they come from, not in any of my other tanks....i thought they might be baby snails, but they don't seem to grow?

I do, link is in my about section... at this time of the year I dont have much shrimp left though and I will be stopping shipping in a month for the rest of the year ..in Norway it gets very cold :)

yes those are clay roof tiles I just broke them up and added them to the tank

How long between recordings was it before your shrimp began to breed?
Just a few weeks, I think I have had them for about a month now, that tank was well matured though before they went in.

I've got a colony of about 15, they're slowly breeding but we've just started to get out of the cold weather and electricity is expensive in Australia :(

Mine dont seem to breed with my Yellows for some reason, would like to see what the colors would be

@@MarksShrimpTanks I bought them as "Neon Yellow, NeoCaridina " I dont have and female Blues, but I have a few Yellow Females that've all given yellow babies. Maybe the male Yellows are getting to them first???

Mark i see you have limpets and ostracods as well. I have them too and it's a problem for me, because I don't want to give my extra neocaridina to people with the risk of giving them limpets or ostracods, ... not everybody likes them. i also don't want to spread the limpets and ostracods to my other tanks, so i have to be very carefull with maintenance... I am using Esha gastrobel against the limpets now, but how do i get rid of the ostracods ?? Any advise ?? The only thing i know is a puffer fish, but that's not an option. Is there maybe a way to seperate the shrimp from the ostracods so i can give the schrimp a clean tank and sterilise the old one ?
Microfuana are a part of a tanks make up and honestly anything you use to kill inverts of one species in a tank will probably affect the other species.
What is the white string thing attached to the outflow? What is its purpose?

@@MarksShrimpTanks no I've kept to black gravel which I've always used. Everything is the same and I've tested my water and that's fine. I'm thinking they could be stressed
