Nah, sorry mate.. but Retiring as world champion at 37, then starting a yt channel 8 years later is not "quitting to become a youtuber".

Exactly. He didn’t quit boxing to TH-cam. Nothing of the sort.

You can say that again. I’m surprised he’s even on TH-cam but I’m glad he is. Hopefully he gives fake Paul a hiding. I would actually pay for a ticket.

its a tongue in cheek title mate. unfortunately having done youtube a long time ‘Carl Froch - a career review’ doesnt get 15% of the clicks that a ‘clickbait’ title does. when you spend a week or so putting together a well planned video you need it to get as many clicks to make it worth your time. Although i do get where you guys are coming from. I feel if you watched the video you would completely understand that the title is not an indication of how the video is itself 👌 NOTHING but respect for the Cobra 🙌

Thoroughly enjoyed this Joey - excellent work. Froch really was an outstanding and entertaining boxer, the fights with Groves got me back into boxing. When you revisit his career you can see his weight division was heavy with killers so that makes his achievement so remarkable. Deserved Hall of Famer. On top of that he continues to entertain & educate in his no nonsense Froch on Fighting. Again, well done 👏

First video I've seen from this channel and I've gotta say I really enjoyed it. Informative, with just the right amount of accompanying clips. Put together and edited really well and the effort needed to construct this sort of content hasn't gone unnoticed. Plus it makes a big difference when the creator clearly has an interest in the subject matter and is engaging with a sense of humour and is able to hold the viewer's attention throughout. Cos there's nothing worse than watching a good video being let down by the speaker not being able to connect with the viewer and look like their just reading an AI constructed script. I now know what my next binge watching session is going to be lol. Brilliant👏👏👏

Carl Froch was an incredible fighter. But he could be beaten on points. Jermaine Taylor was beating him by a mile before Carl caught him in the 12th. Andre Ward beat him handily on points- and Calzaghe would have DEFINITELY beaten Froch on points. Kessler also beat him on points. Kessler was exceptional too.

David hayes story is quite intersting. The explosive start, the first defeat, the way he won cruiserweight belt, the tyson fury pull outs, that press conference, Also chasing the klitchkos down then losing so badly and then redemption through gutsy 2nd defeat to bellew. theres a story to tell for sure, even though his flashy on-line persona isnt as likeable as The Cobra

I enjoyed this video and the Billy Joe Saunders one very much. Great memories from the Super Six! But I don't feel Froch beating Bute was an upset. Bute was a protected fighter, used to only fight in his back yard and still unbeaten only because he got a few favours from the referee in his fights with Andrade. I honestly cannot name anyone he fought after winning the belt. Staying out of the Super Six was his wisest career move, go to Nottingham to fight Froch a commercial suicide.

They we reduced to putting on little Prizefighter shows at York Hall
Then Eddie swooped in and stole all the best fighters in Mick Hennessy’s stable
This Class of 2004 (I think)
    Put on some great shows
Froch was definitely the Jewel in the Crown
    A very underrated Champion
