I mean, when we break it down, Fury is a bang average boxer with a resume as thin as a Rizla. Aside from a labouring victory over a well over the hill Klitschko, and two against a guy who can’t box, he’s fought literally no one of note. He ducked all the genuine threats, and after finally being called out, lost twice to the best CW in the HW division. That is the legacy of Tyson Fury.
100% it feels like if Usyk didn’t come along and destroy everyone in the division Fury would still be dilly dallying around all these big fights. The comeback against Wilder from where he initially was after the Klitschko fight has to be given some credit tho, not many people can comeback like that and many people don’t get up from Wilders right hand, albeit that is all Wilder has to offer.
@@kierontalks I'm not dissing Fury, and his comeback against Wilder was incredible, particularly when he rose like dracula from near KO. I was just being honest. I first watched him live about 12 years ago before he fought Klitschko, and I didn't rate him then. I thought he was too big and lumbering. While he has certainly improved, particularly with his jab and movement, I have never shook the feeling that he's an average boxer with an inflated reputation from operating in a piss-poor era, in tandem with his b*llsh*t (and I've banged this drum for years). He talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. He's avoided almost everyone that matters including AJ a few years back, and I'd argue that AJ's resume is better. Yes, he's lost a few, but he's fought better opponents. Since beating Wlad, Fury has ducked and dived his entire career, cherry picking oppononents to protect a meanginless zero, and when it finally came to the crunch to prove he could back up his wild claims of being the generational great, he failed miserably, twice. He's just not that good, and the risk now for him, and what could really drive the nail in his coffin is if he fights AJ and loses... I'm not sure he will take the fight, even for the money.
@@ApsilonUK I think Dracula has finally smelt garlic and that garlic was Usyk. The points you make there make a lot of sense, you've watched Fury for way longer than me and so have more knowledge on how his opponents, he definitely has had British media on puppet strings. If he loses to AJ his whole legacy that he's built up in his head will be tarnished. I can imagine he takes the fight just so he can call himself 'The Best British Heavyweight there's been'. It just depends whether he's prepared to risk it all and judging from the 2 Usyk fights, he's not. Who knows what will happen.
Good video but, Fury didn’t “have the early rounds” of the 1st. He started clowning in the first round because Usyk got to him immediately. He had some success in the mid rounds when he finally stopped clowning and found success with uppercuts. Usyk simply did what he said he was going to do, he “did not leave Fury alone…!” He was in control the whole of both fights and 6ft 9” Fury was on the back foot against the “jumped up little middleweight…!” Usyk - clear winner.
Looking back at the first fight whilst editing this vid you are 100% correct in both fights tbh Usyk was the clear winner. Usyk has proved he is one of the very best heavyweights there’s been. Appreciate the kind words
People need to stop with the "corrupt" bullshit every time there is something in a fight they disagree with. Bad call? Arguably. But there is fuck all proof of any "corruption" other than "I think". There is a solid argument to say it should have been stopped, but immediately jumping to throwing in corruption turns the argument in to conspiracy theorist bollocks.
Good video. Fury definitely ducked Usyk. Fury has said previously Steve Cunningham was his hardest fight and we can see he won by using a cheat move (holding and hitting). Small, agile fighters are his weakness. He tried hit & hold and rabbit punches on Usyk but failed to win regardless.
From one Kieron to another thanks for the support. Usyk was definitely Fury's kryptonite. Usyk seems to show no weaknesses in any of his fights. I think all that's left for Fury now is AJ.
Good video I enjoyed it, the effort you put into it shows. I don't agree with something though, Fury in the first fight didn't get the early rounds he got the middle rounds, and he didn't get caught because he was being "cocky" he got caught because he was exhausted, he couldn't keep jabbing at the same rate, he couldn't keep throwing fast 3 punch combinations, he couldn't keep his hands up. Additionally, Usyk adjusted to Fury's uppercut and was able to time it to get out of the line at the right moment and counter him with right hooks.
Thanks mate appreciate it! I totally agree with you looking back Usyk bossed both fights I feel like Fury’s cockiness didn’t help but ultimately it was Usyks ability and adjustments that won him the fight as you said. His iq to adjust in the ring is insane. As a boxing casual there’s a few things in this video that aren’t totally correct and looking back Fury was more dominated than I initially thought. Especially the second fight but when watching a point to point review on it Usyk definitely won most rounds.
I can’t figure out how you wound up in my feed- any secrets to share? I have a rock band in Atlanta Georgia that I am trying to get some new ears and eyes on.
Thank you very much buddy! Just try and create enticing thumbnails with a title that’s intriguing and relevant to your video, comes with a lot of practice. I still have a lot to learn. Just keep being consistent mate!

His ego was out of control after Wilder really thought he was the big man and just ducked most big fights for easy paydays. I do think he beats AJ tho, he beats most fighters in the division in my opinion my man.
Usyk was just too good, he was the counter to fury. Ducking Usyk only for money to call him to it. Granted I still respect fury just the whole attitude at Usyk was uncalled for. Despite that both fights were good 👍🏻 first fight the ref saved Fury. Second fight he put in the better effort but just like AJ you trained as hard as you could but couldn't get the job done. Still a great boxer of this generation.
Furys title reign wilder III whyte Chisora. He could have been way better, his title reign doesnt even register on the heavyweight all time map. Joshua and wilder are atleast statistically high which is all people remember anyway in the end
Which early rounds did Fury win in the first fight? Or rather how do you score rounds? If getting punched more than the other guy wins a round then fury won about 9 rounds in the first fight otherwise 456 are the only rounds he won and 4 is a stretch.

Yep, I gave Fury rounds 4-6 in the first fight, but that's it.
Tyson was saved from the knockout in the first fight by a corrupt referee. There should be technical ko or he should've let the Usyk knock him out.
I agree. The ropes kept him up in that fight if it weren’t a championship fight I reckon the ref steps in.

I rewatched it and realised the fight was easily Usyk’s. I’m not a judge just a guy who likes watching big men punching each other for 12 rounds
I thought his lay offs were due to failed ped tests
