Why I personally love this style of minimalist home is the fact that they are so EASY to clean!
Everything is hidden/tucked away so nothing is obscuring the living-space, making it extremely easy to for example vacuum and mop the floors :)

    • @Sendrim

I thought it was more like The Local Project, because Never Too Small is about small homes, while this is a rather large home. Though I agree with the sentiment that this video is very well made.

The format of the video is very calming. I appreciate the voice over with the silent walk through. And continuing to show the space while talking about the sponsor was clever. I kept watching and listening, not fast forwarding through it.

What a clean aesthetic. I love all the attention to detail (flush doors, hidden storage, consistent use of materials, Zen and calming garden). Overall the space looks easy to maintain. Personally, I would have added a small lounge area on the ground floor for that must be the most used area of the home. I am sure that over time the home owners will add their personal touches to make this flawless home even cozier.

  • @henryhealy

This is absolutely spectacular. I love the brightness and openness. The large windows are definitely something I'd love to have in a home some day.

This is a stunning space! Aesthetically a little too bare for me, but to have done that much with such a small space... I dread to think what this would cost in central London, but if I had to live somewhere like that, I'd definitely want to live somewhere like this!

Doesn't feel like a home perse. Love the space tho. I'd add more plants, pictures, pillows, blankets and rugs to add a bit more of a scandi feel to it as well and boom, because of the coziness, I'd move in in a heartbeat.

It's not Japandi as Japandi incorporates much more warmth and is not straight and symmetrical, if anything it's the opposite of wabi sabi, there are hardly any organic elements here. But for someone wishing to impress others with their wealth and ostentatiousness while pretending they have taste, it's perfect.

The Japandi style is one of the most fascinating there is, and I haven't had the opportunity to visit an apartment or house decorated purely in that style. I love that, within all the minimalist flair of the trend, the spaces look incredibly comfortable without needing a lot of paraphernalia. The only thing that I think could be improved in that living room area is the lighting, since it doesn't look so well done. I recently purchased a marble base Arco lamp from Barcelona Designs as I love using my living room for reading, and realized how dimly lit the room had been all these previous years.
    Nice tour! ;)

It makes it much easier to understand how all the later parts other video fit together into one coherent home. I will add though, that some of the shots seem a bit "cramped". Maybe there's a better lens that can be used there to make it less so. Pacing throughout the video is great, I feel none of the parts are skimped over. Really looking forward to the next one. But I'm on an IKEA budget, not the undoubtedly substantial budget required for this home--any time you use the word "bespoke" (ie, "custom") you're jacking up the cost and all the "bespoke joinery" and those big plate glass windows had to have been very pricey. But by golly my contractor and I are gonna "IKEA hack" it out and give me something like this!
