Thanks for making this video. I did this and it worked. Now it is a little slow and i think it's the actuator door. non the less this was an easy free fix. thanks.

@@DonaldKnepp yes, I have a weak vacuum in my blend door as well. System tends to pull in a little warm air from the lower vents when the AC is running and I'm under hard acceleration, or when traveling over 60mph. Still needs investigation.

Great video! I have a question about the LED light upgrade you did. The way you wired it to the +/- bus bars, wont the LEDs always be turned on when the car is turned on? I am trying to have the LEDs only turn on when I turn the headlights on and can't figure out how to do it. Thanks!

@@samuelkim4187in my application the backlights in the HVAC cluster are already operated by the headlight switch, just like the dash cluster. The (+) and (-) I tied into are switched OE bulb locations so my light mod is also switched.

Looks like white lithium grease for the vacuum pod?

That was probably the OE spec, yes. I used a very light, thin coating of Sil-Glyde.

You need to slow down a bit so we can digest some of your good information.. (you talk to fast!)

Unfortunately, analytics data shows the majority of online video content is watched with the audio feed muted. So, it needs to be fast-paced to keep the viewers engaged. But an upside to using TH-cam is that the user can pause or replay anything an unlimited number of times. Also, the video stream can be played faster or slower using the "settings" button at lower right in the video screen. There are also automatic closed-captions generated by TH-cam.
