That hook on the lower part of the tail lights is such a PITA design; I always change my bulbs without completely removing the hook from the car body, for fear that I would break it!
Not a fan of all-clear tail lights, personally, although IMO they do look good on a white vehicle. Typically these types also violate local lighting laws unless a suitable red retroreflector is added somewhere else on the vehicle rear (at minimum, depending on local jurisdiction).
Thanks for reply! You are very smart & I am totally stumped here. After installing my easy trailer harness - my turn signals make the opposite side brake light & 3rd brake light flash together. Also when braking my turn signals light up dim. Been searching forums & videos for days. I believe there is back feeding happening as a result of harness mixing brakes & turn signals together. Any thoughts? Only idea I have is diodes but I need to understand where exactly to install them?? I have all LED lights everywhere, no regulars anywhere. I've been a long subscriber of you!!
@@seanstackz3683 there's a lot of things to troubleshoot for a problem like that. Trailer adapters can be defective, and some LEDs can create backfeed issues. Usually IME the other culprit is grounds, either the main ground points at the body or corroded wires and terminals at the light sockets. I would start by pulling all the LEDs and swapping incandescents. If the problem is gone, either change LED types or try a different trailer adapter. If it persists, pull lamps one at a time until you start to narrow down the problem area.
