The Malak is a fun one, like most Celestials. I'm still not entirely sold on the retractable blade, but it's a very flavorful weapon at least. I agree on the Eminus. A Thunderbolt-5 isn't significant enough to outperform a standard LRM-5. Swap it for an LRM-5 with two tons of ammo, one standard and maybe a ton of Thunder ammo for area denial. And I would drop the VSPs in that custom Malak for some X-Pulse lasers and a heat sink or two.
@@ProfessorHeyTeeEn these WoB mechs, we almost never see them...but it's obvious why: They are so expensive and over engineered that you can easily build a counter that's heavier, and cheaper.
So, had this thought... How about a body-kit to make Celestials look like, ya know, *anything else?* Might help rub some of the bad reputation off, yeah?
The problem is when you get in the internals for many of them. A lot of parts are proprietary, from factories on the destroyed Gibson. It is possible sure, but would be rough.
"If the Malek is an angel, it's damn sure it's a killer angel."

Woohoo another Celestial! It's a light mech and a terror weapon as well, heavily relying on Flamers... So I approve wholeheartedly. 😈
Pretty good and dont know what ever that star wars guy said who never let us see his youtube videos to compare. Good job
@@TheOtterpop Your support is appreciated. Clan Sea Otter, UNITE!
Hopefully will be getting these in a few years like Catalyst planned. Overall, this really is my favorite era in the setting.
Are the Blessed Order’s Celestials on the docket next? I’d imagine those are even more rare given what happened.
This is the ideal mech! ...to crush with TS Myomer.
@@teehasheestower Talon + TSM + kick on a light mech usually means critical hits to the center torso.

@@teehasheestower well they weren't ever meant to be a front line force. The Shadow divisions were basically the Cia or seals of Blakist forces.
Praise blake!

@@ProfessorHeyTeeEn Tragic, but I'm sure you're right. Damnation. I gotta move these things somehow.
