Your 'tricks' are novel length compared to what actually is needed to say, such as wanting to exit out of whatever video or program, just say "Alexa Home"
Another QUICK command is "Alexa, play TH-cam Lady Gaga videos/music"
... Bottom line, just get to the point and tell Alexa briefly what you want, no novel length command!
These aren’t hidden, but little known. Amazon isn’t trying to hide anything useful with these gadgets.

I’ll admit this is the first time my Echo show responded to Alexa commands from the TH-cam video playing on the echo show itself.
It's very annoying isn't it? I always give a written warning in my TH-cam video description as I cannot mute the wake word in editing.
Someone once said play a song and then said set volume to maximum. I disliked that video.

Godammit, this whole time it had a browser built in lol. When did they add that?! XD
Is it possible to use Google Classroom and IMO on Echo Show 8 ?
Simply say - Alexa go home. Alexa, change your wake word to [Echo, Computer or Amazon].
Note you have to choose a default browser before it will open TH-cam. Just say afterwards Alexa open TH-cam

Do you know why the echo show goes back to home screen and closes the page after a few minutes when you have a silk page open, like listen live radio from a web page?
As a browser, SILK sucks. Besides, it's part of Amazon and their 'til the day you die were going to try to keep you dependent on Amazon.
You can't even download using SILK. Once I figure out how to really get inside of my Echo Show I'm going to d/l Browser Bro. A browser with a mouse and will download.
It probably thinks you're no longer using the page. Not sure how to solve that though
"exit" does the same as "take me home"
A lot of people with this product have started making videos and just saying I'm going to say the A without setting off everybody's devices:-)

I am based in india and all the features work but talking selfie and pictures does not work how to fix it
You may have to change you country of origin (on amazon.com) to the U.S.. I live in Australia and this works for me. Also you get sensor triggering Alexa routines, Alexa Guard (but can only set times to a US zipcode).

Can these be hacked? How do we protect ourselves, I have freaky neighbors who use apps to spy on others.. until I know mine will face the wall
It comes was a physical cover for the camera and you can change the settings so no one can just drop up in on the device
ANYTHING can be hacked. Just as there was a software to get it up and running there's also a way to break in. Common sense. I highly doubt ur neighbors care enough to spy on u. Either way, there's a way to shut off the mic, a camera shutter that's very visible and there's a notification that stays on screen when someone is viewing.

Unless you have one without a screen it should. Just say Alexa open photo booth. Then you will see the menu of options.

I wonder why my Echo 5 keeps taking me to amazon prime each time I press video.
That's what that button means. It's for prime video. There should also be a button for Netflix.
On the Alexa app on your phone, you need to change the default video provider or streamer.
These aren't hidden features! You might want to change you video title
