- In this video I am going to guide you through some Tips & Tricks that you can use with your Amazon Echo show 8.
I am using the 2nd generation Echo show 8, but the tips will work with the original show 8 as well as the show 5, show 10 and even the new Echo Show 15.
These tips are great for beginners and more experienced users alike and I am sure everyone will learn something new.
I show you how to link your favourite music service such as Apple music and Spotify
I show you how to control your smart home using the echo including your smart thermostat and smart lightbulbs.
I show you how to watch your favourite content including Prime Video, TH-cam and Netflix.
I show you how to ask Alexa to read a book from your audible library to help you get to sleep.

i bought this device, honest review, its good, the sound was good aswell, one thing that i didnt like is its kinda slow when you use touch screen, plus there's no youtube app installed, you just need to use the browser and its kinda slow
Is there a way to make it stop rotating background (like when it is static and keeps changing background) in homescreen, it Is kind of annoying
Is the screen glass or plastic please? Would it scratch easily like my lenovo clock does just from wiping? Thanks in advance.

Your videos are fabulous! I just bought one, to be here any minute now and really wasn’t sure what I bought! I know very little about how to really get the most out of my Alexa devices. Thanks for the video Daniel. Is it possible to get Alexa Show to do two things simultaneously, for example play music whilst you are viewing video footage from ring security camera?

Really strange, before I posted my question to you I had tried it and checked all the settings for something that would allow this but could not find anything, so too assumed it was not possible. But this morning (without me doing anything differently) it just starts working. I have music playing, and then can see small thumbnail (about 1/6th of the screen with live feed from my camera. Maybe Alexa saw my comment and made an update :)

Amazon Echo Show 8 needs to have a NATIVE TH-cam app, not one that is loaded in the Silk browser. So that we can cast to TH-cam from iPhone to the Echo Show 8. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
It used to a few years ago.
TH-cam is owned by Google so a Google Nest works great with TH-cam and not so much with Prime.
Can you use an Android phone and cast to Echo Show 8 2nd gen like you can on Google Nest Hub 2nd gen?
You can cast some but not all content to the show.
How can I add a screensaver to my Amazon Echo please
I'm surprised that none of the reviews are talking about how horribly slow this device is. I can't believe that Echo product line's QA allowed to release this product to the market. It is so slow that it gets you frustrated in no time.
To get a taste of what I'm taking about, try Drop in feature or make calls.

Put a dam play atore on it it would sell like hot cakes. I should be able to get any movie app i want or atleast be able to stream to it.
No play store is why I returned 2 Fire Tablets.

Just go to settings. Followed by ‘your profile’. I hope this helps.
