Great video format straight and to the point
Well done, short to the point and informative while also giving context between best applications of the two forerunners.
thanks for the positive feed back and support!
I couldnt believe it when i saw only 400 subscribers. good job here, very informative. just put in an order for a hypertap because of this video
glad you liked it! thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Great info. No bs. Very well put together video and presentation. This is one of my new favorite channels for legitimate quality info.
thanks for the positive feed back and support!
thank you
With having various Silencer Co suppressor as the ASR is my go to, can move cans between different guns in less than 30 seconds.
Precision Armament Hypertap! Thank you. Great Video

I actually run a hypertap on NRL Hunter open heavy rifle in 6.5 creed and even on my NRL22 Kidd Supergrade in 22lr. Drilling those ports to customize the muzzle flip reduction when the recoil is already cut way back is just the cats meow.
I have a hypertap on my 300WM and it definitely made a major difference.
oh man the 300 wm kicks! thanks for the positive feed back and support!
I have the Fortis and you have your opinion, for me it work great...
I have the Hypertap on my AR. 1000% worth it. Run to buy it, don’t walk.
I love mines but everyone hates me at the range so I’m getting a supresor instead !
@@bwatsup12534get a surefire socom brake/Suppressor mount… or get a brake that is also a mount for whatever suppressor you will run. It will act as a sacrificial baffle and enhance your experience
Do you put a loctite on yours? And did you torque it?
100% agree! thanks for the positive feed back and support!
@@bwatsup12534 I know just what you mean! thanks for the positive feed back and support!
🔥🔥
personally i'm missing the nordarms brake , was a solid top5 brake during the last years
🔥
I have the Hypertap and it's no joke zero recoil on 556. Bad thing is ports angled at shooter and make it a super loud blast to face along with Shockwave blast
I recently bought an Ultradyne Apollo Max. I have also used most of the ones you tested. For me, the Apollo Max eats their lunch. Pricey but excellent function.
I couldn't find it to be any better that the other mid range ones.. i was so sad given it cost. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
@@Ertactical I have spent more time with this comp paying more attention to particulars and swapping back and forth. I estimate 1/2 the mussel rise but this gun didnt have a lot of rise anyway. I definitely can feel the difference in the recoil but again it is a soft shooter anyway. I do get response from people on either side of me about loudness. To me, in my gun, its all in the culmination of everything you have done and not just one thing. The Tubb AR10 flat wound spring, Kynshot 5000 hydraulic buffer, the 2A Armament AR10 buffer tube with anti-tilt, the 20" barrel w/ rifle length gas, and the comp. Individually I doubt you would notice much difference. Added up, there is a big difference. This is my DMR and there is a big difference in staying on target and recoil with this setup. The price is a slightly slower cycle rate but its a DMR.
@@mlone7 well said, there’s a lot of little things you can do to reduce recoil. In order, I would say a muzzle device, adjustable, gas, buffer, but if you can do all three you’re really doing good thank you for your comments and your support.
@@Ertactical I sent you an email about this subject and things I am playing with. Check your spam folder.
@@mlone7 Will do, thank you
i run a hypertap on my 7.62x39 and with a couple of the bleeders drilled it shoots like a 22mag
Man I’ve been looking for one for my 7.62x39. Thanks for the recommendation.
totally agree! thanks for the positive feed back and support!
I never see the Phase 5 Fatman get any love....
I think you forgot the # 1 Lantac dragon
T 2 buffer or T 3 buffer will help you a lot to keep your gun from muzzle rise
we did test a few setups with and with out cans with H-H3 buffers and didn't fell a ton of diff.. some yes. there are several factors that can reduce recoil and that one maybe comes after brake, gas, then can, lastly buffer. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Would like to have seen UltraDyne Apollo in the lineup.
I did have one in the first test, we didn't find it to be too effective. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Have you tried the Apollo Max .223/5.56?
sure did, we didn't put it on this vid as we didn't find it to be too effective. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Why not side by side recorded testing?
WHat about the deadair/lantac, the apollo max, and the hudu?
tested those as well, we only get so much range time and recording time and those just didn't make the cut of our select favs .. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Is the ASR the same as the Dead Air Da101?
close but different systems and the DA is not quite as good at recoil reduction IMO i also don't like the attachment method vs the SiCo system. I see many DA cans getting stuck on the end of rifles after a good day of training. I do have both and i do have a pref. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Which one would be less loud? Thanks
Gosh MB are kinda loud, i am not sure where to start. you should know that most of them are loud for the person next to you and not you. some are loud for every one near by. it has to do with the redirection of the blast. Is there one that is the best of all worlds... the CIB from Trybe did well when shooting prone and did not disturb much dirt too. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Is there such a thing as less recoil and sound mitigation put together?
No
It's called a suppressor
yes a silencer with a mitigation for back pressure. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
Can the hypertap be pinned and welded?
Have you found out?
it can yes, thanks for the positive feed back and support!
What do you say about using a mb attached to a bull barrel
a Bull BBL add some weight to the gun and this can help but i like mine to be as light as possible. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
@@Ertactical I'm mine for varmints and at gun range already too heavy to shoot without assistance
@@lparra51 well, then it’s a perfect fit lol. I come from a background of carrying my rifle a lot. So I try to keep it as late as possible.
I love the Lantac dragon the best for my weapons.
thats a good one but we found it was loud as Heck and not too great at recoil by a side by side test. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
@@Ertactical yes it is loud but have them on most of my rifles. I get 0 muzzle rise on everything with an 18” or longer barrels.
@@lawerancedodd690 they are good, however, there are many that are even better. I was a big fan of them and the surefire until I started doing side-by-side testing. It’s hard to have Range time and access as well as twin rifles and an audience of people willing to participate in an experiment. But in the end, we found some really good information.
Lantac dragon is better than those
I have a dead air keymo brake and a hypertap. They are both great, but, although very different calibers, the hypertap makes a much larger difference.
we have tested it too, we didn't love it.. we have tested many different ones but could fit em all into this vid.. thanks for the positive feed back and support!
