This is a piece of art. Seriously, these Santa Cruz matte finish decks look and feel amazing. I picked up a couple of them and they seriously are so satisfying to just hold in your hands and look at. I’m very tempted to buy this one now because that graphic and that purple stain look amazing.

Nice board 👌. I'm 49 and got back into it a year ago but mostly longboard at first. Wish we could hang out and skate with you bro. I'm riding a 9" blank right now with indys and some OJs key frames. Using the softer wheel for more grip right now til I get the feeling back, then I'll go to a harder wheel. Boards are more expensive now then 35 years ago. I see some that I plan on getting and put together in the future. I don't fell comfortable on a board thinner than 8.75. It'd be cool to skate with you but I'm tulsa.

When I got back into skating 1.5 years ago I went with the Roskopp 3 and it had 60mm 78a wheels for cruising. I didn’t get into smaller boards and wheels until I started skating parks

Sweet deck. I haven't decided what size/shape deck I prefer yet. I'm used to shaped decks. Not sure if I'm going to stick with popsicles. Gonna try out an egg shaped next.

Yeah I tend to rotate deck sizes and shapes a little bit. Keeps it interesting. But I really love Santa Cruz.

Would venture 5.2 (8"axel) be too narrow. I'm 48 lol and ride a 8.1 right now but want a h street hensley but 8.9 and I'm a small dude 5ft 6 150 and big boards are dope and all but I love my v lights 8" all broken in w med bones bushings etc and love the squeak . On the strength of that what do u think? Some new deal decks are amazing but over 9" I just dont know . I also ride 50 to 52 mm bones . I love slimeballs too 53 mini vomits 97 nice small but chunky and slide. ✌🏻💨 peace and good energy from 732Nj

Hey dude I think at your height and shoe size you’d be good in the 8.25 to 8.5 inch deck range. Going bigger than 9” might feel like you’re skating a surfboard.
