Hey man, i have been learning about shrimping for about 6 months now and have fallen in love with the life style. I have so many questions and im just going to shoot away and hope for a reply haha. 1. Is it hard if you get a boat of your own with 2 buddies to make a good living? 2. I know there are 3 main species of shrimp, pink, white, and brown do you have to separate them and if so do the prices between them vary largely? 3. Is it hard to get a job as a deckhand on 1 to get the basics of it for a season or 2? 4. If you have good buddies and everyone is really into it is it a good idea to get your own boat and just work it as the 3 owners? lol sorry for bombarding you with a ton of questions, just super excited and hope for a reply.
