I love the tip about adding weight to jerk baits. It's probably very important to add equal balance to the hooks so it doesn't kill the intended action. I'll be trying that for sure. Thanks for sharing these.

I’m excited to try the clatter craw and been having a lot of success on a jerk bait is shallower water around small shad. Thank you for your monthly bait picks. It gives me a great starting point to bring to the lake.

Thanks for the lead wire on where to find it! Had heard about wrapping it on the hooks. And like the idea of switching out the hooks that are pre wrapped. Will look for the Jack 6! Shad were blowing up in the back pockets at my lake in southern Oklahoma will definitely try the Jack 6 out! Always ke rattles in my craws! Great info Edwin! Use my fly lead wire on some lures in the river for Steelhead, never thought about it for sinking a jerk bait. Did the off the cuff ideas to give a new use or presentation.
