I think this season is off to an awesome start. That one scene in episode 2, and you know the one I'm talking about...blech. You knew when they opened that door it was gonna be brutal.

There are definitely people who attack Erin out of misogyny, or just general dislike of plastic surgery. Personally I'm not a fan of her plastic surgery, not because I personally think she looks worse (its none of my business how other people want to look), but because she's currently an actor in a 5 season show. For continuity purposes, she couldve waited to do that until the show was finished, its jarring. Ntm, in the show Annie is supposed to be a "down-to-earth" midwestern girl, and the plastic surgery completely ruins that image, making her look like a popular "mean girl".
She let her insecurities get to her where a midwestern girl would make peace with it. Chasing vanity is part of Hollywood but when you go too far it ends up being messed up.

hes not wrong. an elaborate roadmap means the person already knew each season whats going to be and will be doing it which is very unlikely. Season change happens, and audience reviews etc will change the storyboard. Just because you know how it will end, you can never predict the whole process in a clear 'map'. He was right about it.
