I think after the last episode that it will happen, (spoilers), I think Homelander is finally gonna have the parental figure he's been looking for for so long & I think that if Soldier Boy then ends up getting killed it'll finally send Homelander off the deep end for season 4

I never imagined they would make the deep a comic relief, tortured soul and a complex character. Like you don't know what to really feel for this guy, you don't know if you should feel pity, anger etc. The guy is just too damn entertaining, every time he's on the screen.

I’ve noticed in actors, if they’re good people in real life they can play a very convincing bad guy on screen (ex Antony Starr & James Gandolfini), but if they play a convincing good guy they’re probably a dick in real life (ex Amber Heard)

Well yeah he literally worked on one of the biggest shows for 15 whole seasons. Supernatural was an absolute masterpiece. Especially the earlier seasons.

I literally only started watching The Boys because of Jensen Ackles being in it and I am so glad I did because its amazing.
I started watching in 2019, but was absolutely thrilled when I saw Jensen’s announcement on Instagram that he was gonna be on the show.
Not only did he bring in his annoying fans but also spoiled the show in interviews. What a great addition.

Jensen was perfect for Soldier Boy - his character was right in line with everyone elses in the Boys universe. Flawed naturally as someone from the 40s.

I feel like cast and crew always say "I think this is our best season", and so far, I think this is one of the rare cases where they're correct. It's been absolutely fire. It's absolutely debatable which is the best season, but they really have not let up in terms of quality.

Ow it's definally the best season. I didn't anything would top the exploding Hughie girlfriend but that first scene with little man going down the hole was definally something. I think Jenson always heightens the entertainment.

when chace and jensen were in the same frame in the end, i had half hoped tom welling would pop in as well for the whole CW explosion. eric kripke, you really are the man, and this cast is really fun and so involved in their characters if only because the material they work with is just THAT fun.

The idea that power always corrupts is a juvenile oversimplification that is not even true most of the time, let alone all the time. I think they hit the nail on the head with the idea that power is really just a way to reveal who a person really is. People mistake that for corruption, but deep down they were like that all along. There are plenty of people with power who are not corrupt and use it for good.

In regards to kripke’s final statement, Tbh longevity is the last thing this show needs.quick and begging for more is how it should go out. Like tarantino said he wants people to want him to make an 11th film etc, not saying “oh man he’s still going” based on the comic material it would be perfect at like 5-6 seasons…pushing homelander to that end game/ruling society is where its going to end up anyway and they hint at it every so often. All i will say is that their writers definitely dont make it easy to predict, but it would probably wrap up best like so.
Kripke is my kindred spirit. If he could, he would break every single taboo that is still in place, and he actually needs his actors to stop him. Nothing is too insane for this guy. I love that mindset
