Great video which showed all steps, great for a novice such as myself attempting to diagnose glow plug issues, thanks 🙏

great clip! had a hunch, but this video confirms it, that same glow plug is also reading about 460 ohm in my car, I'm replacing all 4 gp's. 380k km i guess is ok

Hi, everyone else uses ohms to test glow plugs. Are you sure your way is OK? I tried your way and got these reading...engine off..
6.30 0.14 12.44 10.04 then after half an hour parked
    6.07 0.10 12.29 7.08
    Any issues?
    Thanks

Thank you so much. All of my glowplugs were on 12.6 volts but I stil get a weird start up and a blue puff of smoke. It keeps smoking a bit until it warms up. What could be the problem?

I think a bad harness could cause that

I have the 2005 Golf with the BEW TDI 1.9. Do you know if the procedure will be similar?

Not sure this is correct I can put the negative lead on any part of the engine and get 12.47 volts. All you are doing is using it as a ground
