@Cyberdemon Mike I dont like fighting games...find them boring and repetitive. Tekken 5 was cheaper than buying the playstation version, that's why I went down that route.
@@iNAZUMA_AiDAN_H Yep. To unlock the full arcade game of Starblade, find the Starblade ship located on Stage 4-2 from Tekken: Devil Within in Tekken 5. You have to unlock Star Blade from Devil Within. Go to the first room in Stage 4-2, there is a breakable wall underneath the higher ledge. Transform to Devil Jin and press L1+Square to blast at the wall. There will be some tiles appear after the wall is destroyed. Jump over the tiles and move on to the next room. There will be a spaceship from Star Blade in the middle of the room. Collect it and continue to beat Stage 4 to unlock Star Blade.
@@iNAZUMA_AiDAN_H At 0:46 - 1:38, I think it's the same part of the loading screen that gets me hyped up to play Tekken 5 and I think it's incredible. Why was this part a similar homage to Galaga loading screen before playing Tekken 1?
Has anyone used an usb mouse with starblade ps2? I have a usb optical mouse but when i plug it in....the cursor moves to tge top of the screen and gets stuck. Any advice or suggestions?
STARBLADE, 33 years after release still is an awesome game like TEKKEN 5.

I have been using a USB mouse to AIM. I continue to press the R2 & L2 buttons catapult launch to complete.
How do you get the usb mouse to work? When i plug it in the analog control joystick locks and the mouse cursor migrates to the top of the screen

It is criminal that the only good Starblade port is on Tekken 5 and it hasn't been ported to any recient system.
Wii kinda counts, but issue is that you gotta softmod it + a translation patch
