Building Myself a Tiny Kitchen in the Desert

  • Thank you to Goal Zero seriously - this tiny trailer home wouldn't be possible without the power. Excited to be thinking smarter and having portable power systems that can go with me anywhere, anytime to power all my devices, power tools and batteries.
    Goal Zero Yeti 6000X (YETI6000X + (2) BOULDER200 BRIEFCASE SOLAR GENERATOR): www.goalzero.c...
Yeti Tank Expansion Battery (2400WH YETI EXPANSION SYSTEM): www.goalzero.c...
Power Port 30 FT Extension Cable: www.goalzero.c...
Finally we are pass the bones of my trailer renovation and into the skin, the details, the beauty. None of that can be enjoyed if I do not have enough power to use the appliances, TV... etc. No fear, Goal Zero and their portable power stations are here! I did not see the point of investing the high quotes I received for permanent electrical when the guest house will not be used all that often. I decided to start this kitchen renovation by prepping for the power we'll need by building custom cabinets for the first time. These DIY cabinets hold the power that will power the appliances that live between them.

The reason I'm obsessed with this channel because It's literally DIY !! I love the way you restore things and use scraps from your backyard to create a new project ( yes you buy some new materials if it's necessary but like you really reuse scraps 👑) and it makes me more like you coz you don't pretend that everything you did is perfect ,you always show us that sometimes you make mistakes. You're literally talented! And I'm so proud of you always! You are my inspiration! I will forever support this channel!!! You deserve all the love in the world 🥰😘

I myself had taken a break from socials. I just watched your last three videos including this one and Rachel, I really hope you see this.
Something my grandma always told me that has now become my life mission to pass along is: “
Bad days are not steps backwards, just merely pauses in your progression.”
It’s okay to pause. Dark periods aren’t always regression, they’re just breaks from our journey of progression. Moments to stop and reevaluate, we’re all allowed to have that. I love you girl and I love watching your journey of learning to love yourself.

Building your own kitchen is very impressive! You just know what you want and go for it. Even if you have never done it before and you are not afraid about things not working perfectly right away. And in the end - you get things done. I find that inspiring. And I love the inclusion of the solar system. In the desert it makes so much sense and it's safer than nuclear power plants.
