Sadly the Met declined to prosecute this one, and I'm unsure why, as I was given two different reasons, neither of which were correct or logical. Having passed the video by an experienced traffic officer who recently retired, his opinion is that the Met dropped the ball here. Ah well. I suspect the shame of appearing on here and behaving so badly and with such ego will be seen by most of your friends, family and colleagues.

So today we’ve learned that you need to kick up a big old fuss, entice several other motorists into committing offences and make loads of unsubstantiated claims of threatening behaviour and victimisation and you’ll get off. Acknowledge your offence and reverse within a minute or two and you receive punishment. Great job 5-0.

There needs to be a public outcry about this. The offender here has got away with a serious safety infringement, not to mention causing a continued and persistent hazard and inconvenience to hundreds of other road users and pedestrians. Your work is much appreciated Mikey, drivers like her, that pull out on the wrong side of the road have had me in hospital with twisted knee that has not repaired fully years later, the police should ban her from driving and add points to her license.

I used to face dangerous driving on a daily basis whilst cycling in London- entitled fools like this who think the rules don't apply to them, distracted idiots texting or impatient drivers who speed. Thank you for your diligence and for bringing drivers to book.
