Speaking of amazement I 'm amazed that people in London are willing to sit in these huge queues when they could just walk or cycle or take public transport. When will car dependency ever end?
I agree. I live in Sweden and I've chosen to not have a driver's license because I do perfectly well either walking, cycling or using public transportation. My lifestyle simply doesn't require a driver's license, because I live in a not so big town and I also live in the most central part of town, and I haven't got kids either.
If you've ever tried to use public transport you would understand why. Where I live I have waited for a bus to see THREE come past saying BUS FULL. Also, train drivers are going on strike randomly. What are we supposed to do?.
Depends on what you’re doing or where you are going. If you’re hauling stuff or if you are making your way out of the city with a longer trip ahead of you, public transport often isn’t a good (or even viable) alternative. Our dependency on cars won’t end unless we radically change the way we live and work. People who like to hate on cars probably have the privilege of being able to bike to work or use a good public transport link. For the rest of us, that usually is an unattainable luxury.
I'm so sorry you lost a loved one in such a terrible way. If the majority of people had the common sense to think about others and how their actions could affect others, we'd have less serious consequences. This is one of many reasons my wife and I won't live in a city - it's chaotic and some drivers make it incredibly dangerous. I wouldn't even cycle there tbh so hats off to you for even doing that.
We drive on the left in the uk 🇬🇧 . This is why I'm a big believer on having to pass a uk driving test. Too many people have been killed on our congested roads.

It reeks of irony how these people who are ‘in a hurry’ spend more time pleading with CyclingMikey than if they backed up, returned to the line, and continued along the the correct course!
I take my disabled son riding all the time and count on drivers to be responsible. Thanks for seeking justice! Cops can’t be everywhere. Bless you and keep safe.
And after they are caught and forced to go back aka "The reverse of shame" they expect the traffic they have just passed to let them back in!! I know I wouldnt let them back in!
I had this once in a car. Ice and snow covered road, going down a very narrow one way street at a safe speed and this cyclist was going the wrong way on the road even though there wasn't room for both of us. He tried to skip into a driveway that was covered in ice to cycle around me and he went flying onto his arse. It's extremely dangerous and I hope he learned his lesson.
As many as do this, the police should put up a traffic cam and just automatically issue tickets to everyone who does it. Eventually the pain in the wallet or loss of driving privileges would get the point across.

Thank you for saving lives Sir.
Come on we need a YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!😂😂
You are a legend!! Have a nice day good luck from germany
I genuinely think the council should give you a job and give you a team of people across London.
Well done mikey, totally with you and keep safe
your a great guy mikey good on you keep it up!
Good job! i love Gandalf Cnr episodes.
Keep it up, your doing a great job

@Jay Brent Pardon?
@Jay Brent Are you also too lazy to spell a simple word correctly? Back to school with you, junior...
I cannot believe the set on this man. lol The hero we all need.
You deserve an MBE for your efforts towards road safety.
I love how people light up when you compliment their dogs!
loving the longer uploads you are a legend
I love me a bit of Gandalf corner!
Your dutch pronunciation is spot on! Love your efforts!
Not Dutch, Afrikaans
Cycling Mickey you do a sterling job showing just how dangerous and how bad some drivers are. Also the humour shown. Brilliant.
Amazing traffic plod still haven't done anything to stop or deter drivers breaking the law but then that would be them doing their jobs.
Lucky to have caring citizens like you Mikey keep up the great work
That was fun to watch!😂👊🏾🥰
Good form on complimenting that lady.👍🏾
Loving your "extended compilation" videos Mikey. You've had a few of these now. It also amused me to hear your "chicken" noises make a comeback! I well remember you doing that when you were chasing after that young lad (Range Rover driver) on foot that threw water at you. As an aside I also remember your follow up video on that incident whereby police went round to his house late at night to wake him up.
I love these Gandalf corner shots!!!
It reeks of irony how these people who are ‘in a hurry’ spend more time pleading with CyclingMikey than if they backed up, returned to the line, and continued along the the correct course!
Achteruit meneer, achteruit. Very good. I like your work. Keep it up.
Hoe wist hij dat het een Nederlander was?
Aan zijn accent te zien - hij was een Afrikaaner.
I've grown to really like these vids -Good work Mikey
Finally a channel I can get behind. Man in hi vis doing chicken impressions at the traffic.
I frequently notice there are 2 lanes of traffic approaching gandalf, is the outside lane all those hoping to go on wrong side?
Indeed! And it's failsafe too, because they can opt to merge and queue jump if the opportunity doesn't arise
A genuine pillar of the community.
Excellent compilation with some good Education imparted.
Great job there, Mikey 👍.
The level of impatience is astounding.
Well done Mikey, people need to smarten up and play by the rules 👌
You cannot stop a pedal or motorcyclist in case they fall off. You can however take the rear plate of the motorcycle. I have not seen you do that yet.
Great job Mikey! Makes me wonder how many people get away with it when you're not there!
TH-cam recommended this to me today! Worth watching in full!
It’s amazing how many people have a driving licence that can’t reverse !
This is such a wholesome one!
