I have the R1 but i thought it was the R1 pro. Just fyi I bought it 2 years ago and it was advertised as R1 pro. Same features but R1 pro is for international users who can use their ks fit app. I have never been able to connect it to the app, so the seller mustve sold me the R1 instead and you need a Chinese mobile no to connect it to their app. 2. The bolt to lower the handle bar is very very tight. I have to constantly oil it and put a tape and rubber on 1 of the knobs and use pliers to turn it. So folding it and putting it away every workout isnt feasible. 3. Also it should go up to 10km/hr but that is setup for automatic mode which you need the app for. With the manual mode it will only go up to 6km/hr unless you do a work around to override it. You will never be able to use the auto mode which moves by your feet from walking to running. But you can set up the manual mode to go up to 10km/hr if needed. 4. Lastly the r1, r1 pro and r2 are wider and longer than other walking pads. So if you're taller, have long legs, or want something with more space, this has it. But of course the main issues like the app, bolt, and no auto will be issues depending what you're sold.
@@nenabunena Try grease for lubrication. Lithium grease is especially good. Should keep things lubricated for years. Just clean it well before you grease it. You want zero grit in any area with lots of friction.
Good if you are unfit. Try walking 5k on a flat treadmill, then try walking 5k on a treadmill with a degree incline. Then you will see why this won't be as effective. Ideal if you are huge and want to get a bit of gym confidence.
Sometimes the point is to ensure you get in movement. You don’t have to be huge for it to help one to move more. (Btw. It does have an incline feature.)
@@Rene-cn4jc Absolutely. But how many degrees does it incline? Is it a levered thing you turn to raise the front? Small, light, quiet, motorized or manual treadmills have interesting possibilities. I wish there were more on the market. When something is easy to move around it can be easily placed at a standing desk. Coupled with a big screen it's just fantastic for getting moving and limber. Especially first thing in the morning, a time many are stiff but don't feel like going out if it's cold, rainy, etc. And if it's quiet the person below you in your wood framed structure won't hear you. What we need are more frame structures that absorb treadmill noise that could be used under any treadmill. It's nice to be able to use it looking at something. But if you're in the basement there's often no view at all yet the basement is the only place many people can place a treadmill because of the noise it generates.
