I love my manual treadmill. Tried both electric and manual at the store and just like the manual more for instant feedback and control. There's also the benefit of it being less expensive and more compact in size. Not being tied to an electrical outlet means it's more portable too. Hearing that it burns more calories than an electrical treadmill makes me happy! Currently getting back into exercising after a physical injury. The first day on the manual treadmill was tough, but I'm not as winded on the second day. Before the injury I was a long distance runner (marathons). Just have to say in all my years of training via running outside, I've not seen such huge improvements in just one day like on the treadmill. Awesome!
Recovering from a stroke of 2 years and I use a cane, I am able to walk on this a few minutes a day because of how easy it is to get on and off of it and the slowest setting.
The biggest cons for me is that so awkward to run on these treadmills. You cannot move your arms while you running and always hard to find your balance. but I guaranteed to you that you gonna be sweating a lot on these in minutes :)
@@inejunta6569 you can hack it. If you tie your self around waist with some belt which is than fixed for something behind you, you will be able to use mechanical tredmil with arms free.
I really do want one of these. Currently, we do not have the space for it. While working and doing school from home, I have to settle for an under-desk treadmill that can be folded and stored elsewhere. But, once we get a chance to move into a larger space and settle... I will be getting an extra treadmill if I can afford it then.
Hello, is are the manual treadmills quieter than the electric ones? And is it good for desk work? I work approx. 8 to 10 hours per day at a desk sitting. That's why I want to combine it with walking in oder to exercise. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Yes they are a little quieter! The manual might be harder for desk work. Typically the under the desk treadmill is our most popular product for that function.
Thank you for reaching out. You can get a great workout on a manual treadmill! This treadmill is powered by your legs as you step and apply pressure to the belt and can serve as excellent cardio. However, we recommend you speak with your doctor or main healthcare provider to determine if this machine is the best fit for you.
Yes, generally, manual treadmills require less maintenance than electric ones. Since they don’t have a motor, there are fewer parts that need regular care. You’ll mainly need to keep the belt clean and lubricated, but overall, upkeep is simpler. Please let us know if you’d like more details!
The manuals are too difficult to safely keep balance on without holding onto the bars, even while just walking. Trying to run without holding on, you'll fall for sure. DON'T. You need motorized/electric for hands-free.
This is a question for our support team to answer. I want to say yes, but I just do the social media. Please send this question via email to support@sunnyhealthfitness.com and one of our reps will be able to answer officially!
Hi, thank you so much for reaching out. You are able to still move it without the handles. However, for safety purposes we recommend in using the handles when using this item.

I sometimes just do a 30 minute jog on my Treadmill and that's my whole fitness for the day. Exercise is exercise. 30 minutes is the minimum recommended time for a full exercise workout

The running belt doesn’t move when I step on, I have to place my hands on the rail and make a strong push in order to move, the tension knob it doesn’t make any difference it feels the same it doesn’t matter what tension I choose I tried to get support from the company and no answer because I think the product is not available anymore and it the manual when you go on line it is scratched the support email. I just want to know is there a way how to tension the belt to make the tension knob to work.

I'm guessing this isn't a great desk treadmill since you need to anchor your hands to push back...

Is it compulsory to hold the bar? Can we walk without them?
Yeah, you can walk without holding the bar.
Its difficult to walk without holding the bar. May be running is possible
Im a senior I use it for a hour is that good enough I can't run just walk
Yes that should be fine!
Can I use this in my weightloss journey?

Can you run without holding the handle bars?
Not recommended. This is mainly a incline walking machine that's manually operated.
Actually the answer is no, not recommended is not a perfect response
How about securing a waist belt to the threadmill so you can sway your arms?
The manuals are too difficult to safely keep balance on without holding onto the bars, even while just walking. Trying to run without holding on, you'll fall for sure. DON'T. You need motorized/electric for hands-free.
Wonder if I can remove the handle bars by sawing it off...
Thank you for your comment. We do not recommend modifying or altering the treadmill in any way. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
Do you still need to use treadmill lubricant on manual ones?
This is a question for our support team to answer. I want to say yes, but I just do the social media. Please send this question via email to support@sunnyhealthfitness.com and one of our reps will be able to answer officially!
Yes you still have to lubricate it. I just got mine yesterday and the manual says to lubricate it before the first use.
Can I still move it without holding onto the handle?
Hi, thank you so much for reaching out. You are able to still move it without the handles. However, for safety purposes we recommend in using the handles when using this item.
Cheers
Tie a resistance band at the front or side handles and loop it around your back, you can let go and not fall back.

I'm sure you can. But you have to lift the back , maybe put it on a 2x4.

Does it hurt joints?
This should not hurt your joints.
I feel it most in my calves.
I challanged myself to hit 500 kcal in one workout. I only managed to burn 24 and was sweating like a pig, haha😂
