    Jim Bounds is a National Treasure! Love: Paraphrased: "stay on the yellow brick road" and "after you listen to this if you want to find your own method and screw up, go for it " , lol.

    Picking up my 1976 GMC Glenbrook this coming Monday nd I was wondering about doing this very repair. So glad I cam upon this video. I will be contact y'all about a kit in the very near future. One of my first priorities for the coach. This future Ranch Hand says, "thank you so much for your effort!"

    OMG! this came at the right time. I had convinced myself that the windows had to come out because of the migration issue with 3 of mine. Now I will do it this way. Thank you very much for posting this.

    Great video! I haven't been on the channel for a while but this is perfect timing as I am thinking about winter projects for my 78 Royale.
    I'd participate in pay-per-view. I know there may be videos that cover these topics, but here are a few things that I hope to do soon.
    - Window Rubber Install - check!
    - General Tune-Up, Filters and Fluids (new owner service checks)
    - CV Joint/Boot Replacement
    - ONAN 6kW Gen Service
    - Roof AC Removal/Replacement (recommendation on new units)
    - Waste Tank Replacement (with macerator)
    I know some of these projects present some variables with different engines, plumbing and so on, but maybe there are some common pointers or things to watch out for with these tasks.

    Wow, I so needed this when I purchased my kit. I missed an important step that was not clear in previous videos; I never actually removed my glass. I wondered why I had so much RTV after I was done... Also; the trick of cutting the tape for easier bending (mind blown!) Since your kits don't come with instructions, can you add access to videos like this to the cost of the kit?

    I can’t wait to see the older style windows, and how much will a window kit be for the older style windows. Thanks so much for the videos.

      I have a '73 and also look forward to the 'How To' video on the older style windows.

    Great video - any reason we can’t spray the rubber with a bit of soapy water to make insertion a bit easier?

    Thanks for this…I am about to do my 76 coach. Lots of great information and it answers a lot of questions. One question though…I am planning on painting my coach, should the coach be done before sealing around the outside edges of the windows?

    I’ve needed and dreading doing this, and this video took all the dread away! Since all the remains is the need, looks like I need to order that kit! (How much is it? Did I miss that part somewhere?)

    Jim
    On our 76 E II there are 2 pieces you did not mention in your video. The first looks to. E a rubber bumper that the sliding glass strike. The second is a piece of plastic about 4” long that looks like the track the sliding glass rides on. Do we need/want theses pieces?

    • @motorhomerehabranch
      @motorhomerehabranch  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes absolutely you need to keep those, without those pieces the sliding glass won't press up against the rubber

      @motorhomerehabranch  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah ok we see what you mean..... not sure how to fix that, it was our second video with the new editing software (the first video did not do that). We will look into it! Does it make it difficult to watch or understand what's going on in the video?

    • @UHiro-pu2jj
      @UHiro-pu2jj 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@motorhomerehabranch hello,
      overall, i could understand . However it would be helpful if we could watch this instruction video with HD quality especially at part of close up at your hands explaining the cut shorten window glass holder where those would be installed as well as scene of where applying v-cut nozzle sealant .
