Photowalk at Nockamixon State Park and the Great Blue Heron

- Photowalk and birding at Nockamixon State Park with my Sony a6500.
I started taking photowalks and hikes for exercise and to improve my photography and videography. Taking to heart the quote from famous photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, “Your first 10,000 photos are your worst.” Also the advice 10,000 steps daily will have huge mental and physical benefits and support healthy weight loss. Hoping to combine both of these together to improve my photography and health.
Today’s photowalk is at Nockamixon State Park in Upper Bucks County PA, close to my home in Quakertown. There are some great areas to walk and hike and the lake offers a great water source for all sorts of migrating birds. Today I ran into some blue jays, a couple woodpeckers and a blue heron.
