Sleep is a must have for my alt devices during special monster events. Depending on the monster, I can instant sleep a 6 star before it can attack with my party setup. Then I can position myself to break the optimal body part. Usually the monster dies without being able to attack again. With 7 star or above I can dodge the first attack or use a special to avoid getting hit by the first attack, then it's asleep shortly after. This makes farming very safe where I don't have to use any potions at all.

Very needed video I've been checking long ago which element has more weakness and their difficulty, and thats the reason why for now Ice and thunder are the weapon elements I spent my WSG into. In my case Stealer 9/2 and Kadachi Fang 8/4. I'm also upgrading my water DB cus I can't beat 9 star Girros 😥😥Rathbuster is slowly upgrading too
Got a question I am struggling with, the meta LBG build for thunder has zinogre hands. This build gives recoil and reload 3 and boosts thunder to 4. To get those zinogre hands to grade 8, I need to spend a couple Zinogre plates. I’d rather not do that. So, do I go back to my old build that didn’t use zinogre gloves? If I do that, I keep recoil and reload 3, but my thunder attack goes from 4 to 2. Thoughts?
Keep Thunder 4 Recoil 3 and Reload 3 its still the best without driftstones by a long shot. Even then you can pop the driftstone in the Tzi-Tzi helm for Grade 8 and hope you get thunder attack.
The last Tier of Thunder gives +150 elemental extra damage. But having reload AND recoil in 3 means at least 30% More damage than lowering down those stats. So it's not necessary to have Lvl 5 Thunder. I can take a 9* Rathian with a Tobi LBG 10.2
@@MrLucky5001yea I was hoping to use those red zinogre drops for weapon. 😂 I figure I will just work in the other armor pieces and upgrade them first and decide on the zinogre gloves when the others are all upgraded first. Maybe by then I will have zinogre red drops to spare. Right now I don’t 😢
I'm a bit stubborn on Water Element. I invested on Jagras SNS but I'm a Longsword main. I find it lacking, or my SNS skill at least LOL. I want to roll it back and get my WGS :(
Glad I watched this video because I thought Water did not have enough to do lvl 5 I have been at lvl 4 because I have been using the wrong water gloves. I looked at the water gloves while watching your video and realized my mistake.
…whoops forgot dragon! Yeah, I agree with it’s tier placement, dragon set was pretty hard to come by. But water dead last under *sleep*?! At least with water, you won’t likely time out from not dealing enough damage…outside of group hunts, sleep and paralysis is pretty worthless without other people to take advantage of it.😛
Sleep is actually pretty underrated and fun..if you’re battling in a group lol. Solo wise with driftsmelting the potential for sleep to be dangerous is something worth looking into.

You can build it along with what you have right now. The Pukei and Rath bows can take you really far and with Status Sneak Attack 4 even the melee weapons do work. In fact, Pink Rathian LS from what I've heard is one of the most used weapons in the East side of the world.
ive killed every 9 star monster except zinogre, deviljo, radobaan, an diablos with my raw lbg lol pretty much carried me the whole game. Am stockin up on elementals tho to further my progress to 10 stars, capped on ice both thunder an fire at 9 an water at 8 :(.
Black Diablos Bow is SSS tier. …there, fixed it for you!😉🤣 (But seriously, is there another raw weapon that’s good? It helps to have more than one example before making broad generalizations for the entire category!😉😅)
For raw damage, because the black diablos bow is difficult to upgrade, I am starting to make a CB diablos. It's not a bow but it seems okay and I want to try it personally ^^

Upgrading my Ice LBG first than other elements has been the best tip a friend gave to me.

Zinogre head, paolumu chest, rathian arms, coral pukei pants, azure rathalos boots. I rely on burst since this is raw.
