Yes Sir, I have it almost done, but i'm trying to fix a recent problem with the software for the video tutorials. Hope to have it finish early this coming week. Thanks for asking and best regards.
Because that's the exact distance between the columns. An important part of the drawing process is to plan ahead and that was what I did. Of course you are saving that time because I did it, but you can also do it by yourself using the command DI or Distance, make sure what is the separation between columns and then using that value for the operation. My best regards
Very clear and concise Thank you. I will share your videos with all my fellow colleagues. One request though, if you can upload a tutorial for 3D modelling it would be appreciated. Good job.
Another great video!! Thanks again for making these, started watching your channel before I got into autocad to prepare but now that I am taking classes and working they are 10X more useful. Thanks.
You are right, you can enter x and y values and hit enter with the z value empty. But still you see that cad ask for the 3 coordinate value. So in other words, even though we're drawing in 2D, the 3rd axis is there because Cad will use it immediately and will convert it to 3D. In theory, Model space is infinite (for x,y and z) When you have the full version of Cad you are actually in 3D, just you are not using it. For this project we will get into 3D pretty soon and you'll get the idea. Regards
Is the same process, copy the object in the current drawing, go to the next drawing and paste it in the coordinates you select. Other option is using the windows way: Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+V. Hope this helps and regards.
Hello Areeb, Bcount is indeed included, if you can't find it, just type it with your keyboard, it will come up immediately and select the option from the ones on the screen. Please post back if you need some help with that. Regards
Hi Areeb, Have you tried typing in the command line the "bcount" command and hitting enter?. Please do it and let me know. Although i have the full version, for cad is standard practice not to remove any previous used commands from the new released versions. I have it in mine, so please do it and post back. Regards
Hi Areeb, Sorry for the late reply, I've been really busy lately. As you mentioned, Bcount is not included in the LT version according to Autodesk website. On the other hand you do have it in the full version. Please let me know what do you use it for and I'll be more than glad to give you a set of additional options to replace it. Best regards.
Great videos. When I try to use intersection with object snap tracking, CAD will only allow me to snap to endpoints or midpoints, but not intersection, even though it is selected. I can't seem to change this.
Hello Michael, Sometimes it gets solved by restarting CAD. Other things i can think of is another drawing aid is interfering like snap. It might be forcing you only at a certain intervals. Please let me know if this worked. Regards
Well, my respects to the Spurs since it was a good fight, but LeBron and Battier did the impossible, they rescue the Heat from the grave. That's why I love Basketball, is exciting up to the last second, as in game 6. I'm a Heat fan and hope you soon become one, they are pretty good, why not????? Best regards
Hi Frnd. thanks for your reply. but i already told you.m not using autocad 2013 professional. m using (AutoCAD LT 2013) thats why i think it is not working in (AutoCAD LT) u can check please and tell me. i already check all commands working like same previous one.but not same applying in (AUTOCAD LT) please check.. and tell me m waiting.

hello sir, am failing to understand the units,.... you sometimes refer numbers like 24 to inches but if type it in 24' which is inches, is something way big.... but in this tutorial, 24 and 36 of the stands are way smaller than 17'4 and 10' of the upper segment which i understand that are inches..... so what i really want to know is the difference between 10'(inches), 10,10" and fts too...,.... thanks for your time
Hello, They way you are entering is wrong. Tutorial #2 explains how you enter, work and the way cad interprets units of measurements but I'll try to point what you have to correct. If you are using imperial system and enter 1, it refers to inches, same result if you enter 1" because the symbol " refers to inches. Now, on the other hand, the symbol ' refers to feet. So when entering 1', Cad will enter 1 foot or 12 inches. So by entering 12'6 or 12'6" you are referring to 12 feet and 6 inches. Hope this helps and best regards
Priyabrata Saha Ok, I'll double check both #3 and #6 and at least for me they are OK, what I'll do is trying from a different location tomorrow and will let you know if I find something. Regards

Thanks a lot for your support, remember to share any opinion or suggestion.
maybe i should be saying axis instead of coordinates.. but you get the point..
Please feel free to share your opinion and also any specific request for future tutorials. Remember to post any questions you might have.
