I have played the game since mira and jackel were the new ops, have about 700 hours into the game. Took a year off before playing this game religiously for the past month again lol. This map has so many memories for me and my friend. Playing house and this map on ranked will forever be the definition on rainbow six for me
Crazy thats when I stopped playing siege!(5 years ago?) Used to go hard in the early days and just got back into it the last few weeks so weird seeing this map go had to run through it one more time
It really makes me sad things that have been in the game since launch and have real meaning to some veterans are just being carelessly removed. Maybe the new players prefer the type of hand holding tutorials but I remember playing situations at first and thought they were so cool and also informative for just starting out because they taught you everything.
This map was not good back in the day. But I actually think it wouldn’t be too bad now funny enough lol. Having more defenders with wall denial actually probably makes this map pretty entertaining. Idk about balanced but fun. Smoke and Mute were king on this map due to all the close angles. Pulse was also pretty good for denying plants from third floor and second. The hatches made it very fun to play basement because it was the only way to play vertical. So most of the time pushing basement was about securing hatch control, taking control of meeting room, and breaching that outside wall. Or just rushing control room or garage into hatches.
This map was unbalanced but I miss it. I honestly don't like the new version of this map. They overdid the rework for this map. Rework just feels boring to play.
Man I remember back in 2019 all my teammates left the game and it was a 1v4 match point and I clutched as doc on ps4 the end screen with me as doc with no teammates was cray
Christ I am so glad I got my no commentary footage for my gaming preservation channel. At the rate that shit is getting removed or the rate that games are being just removed from game stores I am trying to record footage when I can before its to late. Edit: just to be clear though, it's only situation that they're removing right? Is training grounds safe still?
the fourth floor wasn't useless although it was a death trap you weren't going there to come back you were going to spawn peek from the staircase and die doing it (yes yes yes i am guilty doing that with the smg 11 and jager acog shame me all you want)

Okay, since you forgot to explain why those two guys are there I'm going to go ahead and help you out and explain it for you in case anybody is wondering. Because I actually already know what's up. So just for those who may actually be wondering since he forgot to give his explanation, he's playing the fourth situation asset protection. On that one situation mission you get 3 waves of enemies with four enemies each wave. If for some reason whatever that reason may be, on waves two and three the final two guys will always be stuck in that one spot where they're supposed to enter. For some reason if they don't see you they just don't move. They don't even attack. Now if they do see you like how they saw him because he put a hole in the wall, then they'll fire at you. But they just absolutely refuse to move for shit. They just won't go anywhere at all. Which allowed him the perfect opportunity to record this without being disturbed by them. Though I must say it's so weird because back when she originally dropped and I tried these situations, they didn't get stuck there. They would come after you like the other guys. But lately each time I would play that situation the final two guys on Wave 2 and 3 would always get stuck there. One more thing I would like to add even though this might not be on anybody's mind, but changing the difficulty will not change his outcome. Even on the harder difficulties they still get stuck in that spot. Same two guys be the last two guys on Wave 2 and 3 every single time. It's weird. Oh, and yes I already posted a comment. I made this a second, so nobody would miss it from my first comment being so long.
Great explanation, I didn't feel the need to explain as the tour was focusing more on the map itself rather than the situation as a whole. I'm assuming an update broke the pathfinding but nobody ever noticed because situations are so neglected, but I'm not complaining because I got the perfect opportunity to explore undisturbed
Yeah! Fuck making an extra quick match option that only includes old versions of reworked maps or maps that were "removed" (Fortress or Bartlette U., even if they can be played in T-Hunt, situations, or custom games) Goobisoft is so smart! 😐 edit: and especially fuck keeping T-Hunt and situations in exchange for a 5v5 mode that relies on the enemy AI using data from players in normal matches that'll definitely be received well by the community (it hopefully wont and i hope people start bullying ubisoft to the point where they do add back T-Hunt, Situations, and create a playlist thats lets players matchmake and play a quick match style game on old/removed maps)

also last season to play Bartlett U as it is only available in A5 and t-hunt which are getting removed
