great video, I am from Guatemala City, I live in Maryland and sooner or later I want to retire, I was thinking about buying a House but I am by my self, after your video I think I rather rent a House or an apartment, I know the carton of eggs in Guatemala in 2019 was Q30.00 and saw at your chart that they were around 38 or 39 quetz. now. I think I understand why you choose Xela and not Antigua like everybody else, I go to Guate about 3 or 4 times a year, enjoy Xelafair and independence moth over there
So when you retire, do you plan on returning to Guatemala? That is what it sounds like. We love your country. For us, renting works as we really wouldn't be any further ahead to purchase. Prices around the world are going crazy that is for sure. We live in a condo right on the periferico so we get a lot of the Xela Fair here. I was out at one of the parades this morning. I will be putting that video up maybe later today or tonight. Also working on a whole Independence Day celebration video.
I’ve started buying all my Walmart items at Paiz, since they carry all the things I get. I avoid Walmart if I can. Can’t stand the huge store, often crowded with long lines, and the annoying parking, and they’ve gone up on their parking fees. Paiz is owned by Walmart now, and carries the same brands.
@@familiacoates6520 yup, we love Paiz as well. I actually can find for specialty items there too. The one thing I can only find at Walmart is Chaquita bananas. They are my favorite.
We get bananas at our local Despensa (also owned by Walmart - argggg). They always seem to be nicer and not so green. We are blessed to live close to a DF. Raw chicken is less expensive there, too.
Depending on where one lives, one can often find fresh eggs direct from the chicken keepers, and sometimes raw milk. ❤ Fresher and cheaper, and you get to pay the person instead of the big store.
I wonder what God is showing up to the world European countries are moving to central America now days 😮Amazing Amazing!! North America is getting to spansive or what is going on 😊bendiciones central America 🎉❤😊
That is such a great question. I am working on trying not to question God but to follow Him and enjoy the blessings He provides. We hope our videos will show others the wonderful opportunities God has for all of us.
New subscriber here. Nice, helpful video, thanks!
Thank you, I was hoping this would be helpful.

@@familiacoates6520 by the way, your peanut butter was excellent. If you have more when I get back from this weekend, I would buy another jar or two.
