  • amzn.to/3EtLlb9 In this part 1 video, the LaserPecker 2: is shown as an easy one-stop-shop for all your engraving and laser cutting needs. Using a 5 watt laser and smartphone app, you can engrave almost any design on almost any surface. The LaserPecker 2's accessories allow for handheld operation at any angle, and a duel-action roller that can either roll material under the laser, or roll the laser across the materials surface. Stay tuned for part 2 for that engraving.

    Very cool. I can see where having that could be fun, possibly even useful.
    Thanks for the review brother. I feel nothing would be safe in the house or shop. If it fits, it gets.

      I wanted to run at least one etch in real time to show what actually happens. It's so easy to speed up the video but I decided if the viewer wants to skip ahead then go for it. Otherwise here's what really happens. Thanks for watching.

    Anyone doing this slightly more than casually & occasionally, please have ventilation of the particulates. Sure it's probably no worse than having a campfire but people tend to do repetitive production work once they figure out they can do gifts or make money from these and you don't want to be unnecessarily damaging yourself. short drier hose vented out the window with a computer fan may be enough. Or wear a particulates mask from 3m.

    • @lastbesttool
      @lastbesttool  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Absolutely! The product manual makes a big deal of this which is why I have the fan right there and am in a much bigger room than where I usually film my videos. The material being etched or cut is also important, and even the coatings on the material like that saw blade. I had good air circulation and open windows at the time of filming. Thanks for watching!

    • @michaelbuddy

      The more material that has to be removed the more time AND the less likely a low wattage laser can do the job effectively.

    Is the laser replaceable? I just thought about this. About 15' from me under a bathroom sink we have what was new, a $50,000 dual frequency medical laser. It was one of the first portable duals. It still works but . . . it only really works well cranked all the up. It also has a spotting beam that is hard to see. This can't be fixed is the issue. That's why I am asking about the LP. It's annoying to pay so much for something that can't be repaired.
