    Installing one of your kits right now! Well made, Pro tip-7/8" uni-bit to the headlamp cover, notched a small semi-circular hole with a dremel just big enough to get one ear of the large connector through at an angle, and didn't need any electrical tape that way.

    What's really funny is seeing a KL built up like this (awesome), knowing full well it will have to have the lower balljoints replaced every 6 months if it actually hits the trail. I know, because I own one.

    True LED do suck, a lot of other tubers share this opinion..at least for head lights. Ordering this kit with fogs asap. Thx for the vid. Oh and thanks for mentioning the lumen output at a distance, most vids just toss in a LED and say look mom it's brighter and move on. Not very technical especially when ppl need distance not area lighting. Trailhawk stock sucks in both distance and breadth for example when turning you are blind.

    The ballast will get warm, but not burning hot. Our system is designed to mount to the factory frame rail tops, with the included hardware. If you want to zip tie it you may.

      @@XaPHaN1989 I am confused here. Our instructions show you how to do it on a stock front end. If you only have 1 wire coming out of your headlights, then your vehicle is missing another wire. The instructions are clearly laid out with pictures using a completely stock vehicle. What else do you need?

    What’s the average life for these bulbs?

  • @MatthewMorse

    Hey y’all! Does the ballast get hot? Just wondering if it’s ok to zip-tie it up behind the housing to keep it out of the way. If it gets hot, I don’t want to do that as it would possibly damage other components in there.
    Thanks!

    I have this kit installed on a used vehicle I purchased recently. What type off bulb is it that I can replace by going to AutoZone or something. I ordered replacement bulbs from your website, but I had both headlights go out on me. I need to pick something up in the meantime while I wait for my order to show up. Thanks!

    Did you replace the silica packet that is in the stock dust cover? if so ,where ? My concern is that it could be exposed to excessive bulb heat if it is not protected by being behind the fixture as it was when stock. I'm about to pull the trigger on your LED fog and HID Headlight combo but I'm unsure how important the packet is and a safe place to put it if necessary

    • @jesselambros8520
      @jesselambros8520  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BELL TIM some headlamps come with the packet and some did not. Don’t know exactly why. However you can place it inside the housing. Does not need to be taped as it will never be seen

      @vhockada 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      MFC Offroad everyone praises your hids as the perfect replacement for our halogen bulbs but it’s only 35 watts and not the brighter 55 watt ballast?

    • @jesselambros8520
      @jesselambros8520  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vance's How-To's and Reviews we can make them in 55 watt, but have found it’s not as reliable to not throw an error message. 35 watt are golden, and with the light output 4x OEM, it’s not needed.
