Kawasaki JS550 Standup JetSki Pump Rebuild | Solas Variable Pitch Impeller and Stainless Wear Ring

It's warming up outside which can only mean one thing! Time to get back to speed comparisons on mods for the Kawasaki JS550 standup JetSki. In this video we assemble a brand new Solas 13/18 variable pitch impeller to a stock JS550 pump housing, grind off some of the flash inside the pump stator, set the impeller clearances and install a Wax Racing stainless wear ring. Also looking for some advice on whether I should change the steering nozzle beforehand as well, what are your thoughts?

It's jetski season for sure! I'll be tearing down the polaris 1200 this weekend to get the ol' gal ready. Might throw a new prop on it while im at it. I'm hoping to hit 70mph this summer!
