    I live in Canada and I applied for a housing benefit to help with my high rent. My daughter lives with me and she's on disabililty for her mental health and she applied as well. Between the two of us getting the supplement we only pay $400 between the two of us for a 3 bedroom 1 and 1/2 bathroom condo. This is not a government run building either. It's a high rated building in an expensive area. This help will end in 2029 so we still have a few years grace.

    • @blazefairchild465
      @blazefairchild465 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That’s very nice hopefully you two can find something the brings in a little extra income to help you save up for when you no longer have a grace period. Perhaps a down payment on a small house even. Often a house has a cheaper monthly mortgage than a rented apartment or a mobile home. I have had all 3 my husband was a realtor for 35+ years so he has sold many homes to happy people who had always thought renting was cheaper.

    Lamont, you can buy a home using a U S D A Loan if you aren't paying cash when you are ready to settle down, they WILL cover a home on land, they WILL cover acreage, they WILL cover manufactured homes, they WILL cover set up, U S D A covers areas of like 35 k and less. That's how we bought our home, moved in zero earnest money to the seller, zero down to the lender. Look for things that qualify for 100% financing. My mortgage is less than 500 a month on a three bedroom, two bath single family home on a fixed SSDI income.

    I always wonder where you are actually at....this video makes me think you are still in Vegas, but some of your other uploads recently make me think you aren't lol. Apartments are too fvcking expensive here bro...Vegas is no longer a decently priced mid-large sized city, it's expensive here now.

    The place I would want to live in is Florida near Orlando. Las Vegas isn't an interest to me.

      I live in Miami...You couldn't pay me to live with the crazies in Orlando, Ft.Lauderdale or West Palm Beach...Jacksonville is suicide...Miami is the best as long as you stay away from any address that starts with North West...I'm close to all the stores and 30 minutes from the best beaches...Best concerts and clubs a ten minute drive...Super safe...Oh and stay away from South Beach and the tourists...They come to do here what they won't at home...

      @ladyaly864 The reason I would want to live in Orlando is cause I would want to live close to Disney World. I'm a big Disney fan.

      @@ladyaly864 My husband was born and raised in Little Haiti, Miami. He loves Sarasota. We've never been back to Miami since we got married lol. Don't care for it. And I agree about Orlando, only went there when my kids were little to take them on vacation.

    That's not bad for there in new York it would be much higher. You can get house here for less than that in rent. Roach motels work great baited with tiny speck of peanut butter.
