This is so SIIIICK !! I love it, especially around 2:45 where ALTER really starts to kick in. When Omori and Sunny fight it's raw and spilling with emotion, but this turns it more into an epic battle of two gods of their shared realm.
This made me think of a timeline when everyone already moves away, except for Sunny Hero after his depression, makes the first step reuniting Kel with Aubrey and Basil, Aubrey not feeling alone anymore, but Basil thanks to the friend bonds that has with the group, confesses They help Basil to overcome the trauma, but Sunny doesn't want to go out and after the years, his friends start to stop trying Sunny wakes up with the 3 days left, and he goes outside for food, as he only had the Steak, in the way, he sees Basil and the rest happy in the park (except for Hero of course), that makes him angry and desesperate, and as he runs to his home, the rest notices him and tries to talk to him but Sunny doesn't answer. Now the headspace is more distorted, your team starts distanciating from you, and they don't interact with the Mari of this world, the new memories are affecting the happy world, after the events of Humprey they find Basil, and so they go back home, but as Omori is told to return to white Space, he founds himself trapped in Black Space with no doors, so he stabs himself As Sunny wakes up he hear that someone is knocking the door, its Kel and Aubrey, they want to talk to him, Sunny accepts and then, they go to the secret area where they used to play, talk about they wanted to help him to overcome too, they decide to go to Basil's house to see the Album, Hero is with Basil, as he still is confused about what Sunny did and didn't want to be there in the first talk, and Basil has obvious reasons of why he didn't wanted to be there As they see the photos without the marks that Sunny did, he opens uo aboit what he and Basil did, this time this isn't because he overcome Mari's death, but because he is angry at Basil for how he moved on, and how everyone seems so calm. After this, they admit that they already knew, then they speak to Sunny about how they want to help him to overcome, that they understand thst it was an accident, and how they still can be friends, Basil is afraid but he is the first one to hug Sunny, and the rest joins him, Sunny doesn't know how to feel, so he runs and goes to sleep This time the one you find in the Black Space, is a shadow of Mari, as she encourages throught the doors to forgive his friends and himself, Sunny wakes up with the sound of someone knocking the door, is Basil as he wants to talk to Sunny After opening up the door he comes and starts to aplogize, but Sunny after Basil finishes, attacks him, but he defends himself with the photo album and knockes out Sunny This time you don't have to searcg for the memories of what happened, you have to find a way to leave these memories behind, but Sunny isn't able to do that, in the end he finds shadow Basil, and he explains how they are alreasy part of him, overcoming them doesn't mean that he needs to forget them, that Basil still have those memories When Sunny finds Omori and the last encounter happens, Omori its not only angry at you, he is mad about your friends, he is stronger now, and Sunny this time needs to see that everytime he had the support of his friends, this time you can't cherish, but if your health drops to zero, you feel how your friends are supporting you and that heals you, that happens with Hero, Kel, Aubrey and Basil, and when you reach to Basil, you now learn how to cherish, wich makes you remember Mari's wish, then the fight goes on, you fail at first but you continue, and play a final Duet, this time Sunny remember the moments that his friends depended on him too, to end with the final scene with Marie hugging you, she being gone, but one extra, your friends hugging you now You wake up in the hospital, and you see your friends with you, and then someone enters the room, its basil, he looks hurt, with some bruises, but in his hand there are some flowers and his photo album Yes, I wrote all that just to explain that this remix made me feel an angrier Omori aura, sorry if there is some horrible english tho, not my main language XD
Spoilers: This remix is super cool! I love to imagine that this is what OMORI hears when fighting against Sunny. At 1:25, it really feels like the eye of the storm in a way, where it's a moment of calm before the storm continues, and OMORI's attack becomes stronger. OMORI will not succumb.

Faraway 2077, where Sunny has to face the truth that the cybernetic enhancements provided by Basil, and represented as Omori, led to Mari's death and dissolution of their mercenary band
totally random thought but what if there was a bad ending of omori where its just the omori fight but it technically never ends. like a bad ending to the omori fight where sunny refuses to give up but ends up dying because of refusing to take care of himself and never eats and just stuck in a coma like state until he eventually has to give up. just a depressing thought i had.
When this track plays in the game, the impact was already absurdly powerful. A wordless depiction of one's internal struggle against a demon that has long overstayed it's welcome, but has no intention of leaving quietly or without force and, despite how far you've come since the start, your only option is to struggle helplessly against such overwhelming power. This remix makes it feel like that fight is suddenly on equal footing and the righteous is looking for blood. I adore the original, genuinely one of my favourite parts of the game, it's such a hard-hitting composition, especially when you understand what's being fought for. But, your remix creates an entirely different perspective without losing any of the tension and I applaud you for that. Too often, I hear remixes of great video game songs that are rearranged to the point where, even though they might be perfectly good, standalone songs in their own right, they lose all meaning within the context of the game it's from. You've made something pretty fantastic here, well done.
