Spin Touch Triple Use Disk Series: 4 Test Parameters and You Can Use Each Disk 3 Times!

One of the downsides of the Spin Touch is that the disks used to get the test factors are what some would consider on the expensive side and they can only be used once. There are alternative disks made for the Spin Touch that can be used up to 3-times each. They are limited to a few test factors but you don’t need to do all of the test factors each time so they are actually very practical. Here are the 3-Test Disks and the test factors that they can check. Note that this video was edited in Jan 2020 & updated in Jan 2022 and was not published until now since I was waiting for the Disk Series 4340 to be released in 2021. Hence the disk expiration dates if you are observant.
3 Disk Use Series:

Cyanuric Acid 5-150 ppm
Depending on what you need to test for each week will determine which 3-Use Disk you will use. If you break it down since you are using each disk 3-times you are saving quite a bit if you do not need all 10 test factors. If you only need to check the Free Chlorine, pH, and Alkalinity then there is no reason to use a 10 test factor disk as the other reading are not necessary. The 3-Use disk offers a very economical way to use your Spin Touch.

The Spin Touch is also NSF approved which means that many of the test factors and results have been independently verified to be accurate. If you have pools that use Borate or Biguanide you can accurately test for both now. This makes the Spin Touch the best way to test for the most common pool factors and those that are more specialized.

Question? I’m about to poor concrete around my pool, can I poor concrete on the pumps “pvc pipe that go into the pump. Or do you recommend I leave a square dirt around the pipes and poor around the pipes

Leave that area dirt. Just add gravel to make it look pretty. Easier to repair pipes when needed

I have a question about borates. I just recently put in a pool and I haven’t added my salt to the pool yet.. Can I add borates before I add the salt? It’s to cold to start up my Salt chlorinator. Or should I wait until I get the salt in my pool and then add the borates? I’m in California. Thank you.

Hold off on the salt until April. Add borates now. Leave salt system off and just use liquid. It won't be working anyway with the cold water.
