The spintouch has been one of the best things I’ve gotten!

How often do you use your spin touch a week? I use mine about 95 times a week. 4 years old is good, just curious how often do you use it or does it just stay in your truck.

Thumbs up for this review. But I have four dead spin touches in my business out of eight - with two that constantly have issues. No matter calibration or how much we take care of these units they die and lamont has warrantied each unit to my knowledge at least once. The test for phosphates / salt / cyanaric acid kept reading off after awhile no matter which unit we used - everything else was fine though. Yes it is fast and well within accuracy range for good service - but I would not say they are sturdy. They stay in thier case from Spintouch and brought in everyday. Maybe in future they will fix their issues but their definitely is more then half rotten eggs in every batch they made through the years.

@@SPL Same thing for our company, about half just sit there waiting for us to get replacement ones back so we can get the newly broken ones sent back.
Not to mention never being able to get discs.

ColorQ x Pro 7 would be ideal for you. Takes all the guess work out of testing.

I just got the color q pro 9 and compared to my Taylor k-2006 salt it’s very different from each other. Fc on the color q is 3.63 and Fc on the Taylor is 7. Kind of bumped out that it’s off by so much

Use a test strip and see if the color is closer to one or the other.

Thank you! Can you provide a link for a replacement kit of reagents for the 2x pro? I can find them for the previous model but not this one.

I've seen them on eBay. I think with this kit most are buying the tablets or reagents separately vs the kit.

The spin touch just isn’t worth the cost factor , especially here In Florida. I have a palintest but only use it for commercial accounts

I think my Ferrari analogy fits. I wish it was more of a BMW or Lexus myself.

Test strips are awful and photometers far too expensive. The PoolMaster drop test kit is quick, accurate and inexpensive. Even with the most accurate and expensive tester your pool chemistry is in a perpetual state of imbalance - you just need one accurate enough to bounce around within the normal ranges. Perfect precision isn’t necessary for a clear pool
