I just wanna say I love your personality and videos. I am a reseller and you are the reason I look at new things to me other than clothes. I noticed a cat figurine yesterday and picked it up for $2. This kitty sells for $45! I would never have looked at breakables and felt comfortable packing them if it weren't for you :) So you are out there giving out knowledge and in a fun way! Keep up the amazing work.
I don't know why places care what someone resells an item for. An online seller sells to scores of people who can't shop or who won't spend hours going from thrift store to thrift store like resellers do. So the store needs to keep their prices low so they can keep moving items.
This is why Goodwill is now selling online as well, they say their not for profit but they are, that why the CEO is sittin pretty in his mansion on a hill.
@@82froggielover I've never checked out the Goodwill online store. That takes all the fun out of digging for treasures! If in looking for something specific, especially vintage, I go to Etsy.
I wonder if Goodwill has realized yet that they are actually losing money and sales with their overpricing? It is ridiculous that they charge almost full price now for things that they get for free. I know that there is cost in processing the donations but not that much.
Is it basically just after a few months of covid related changes in the marketplace? I expected some higher prices after all that, and not necessarily going down, just seems to be how it goes. Even Goodwill.
Our goodwill is notorious for marking up. It’ll have an original price tag from target on there then goodwill marks it up by $2-$3 more. Never understood it. If targets donation didn’t sell at the clearance price why would it sell for more a the “thrift” price?? I stopped shopping there.
Greetings I forgot to comment on your last vid at GW / so happy you shop for your momma / and that's awesome she makes those fidget sleeves / btw I'm gonna thrift tomorrow / normally we would have a decent Labor Day sales but because of covid / must limit the number of customers in the store / boooooo BUT hope you are well and thank you for the video!
Wow your Goodwill cart was super stuffed with treasures and I like it. Love your haul videos let them roll. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!

Danni this was brilliant fun! You picked great things. I love the bird and the black & white prints, and lots of other things too! Thank you so very much for your videos. Well done on your furniture find!
That metal holder is a picnic silverware, plate holder. The round things are for the forks, knives, spoons, etc. The other are for the plates, usually paper or plastic
The bird pearches as captain of resell on the handle of her cart as they weave their way through the thrifting adventures 🤓 as always learning from Dani. Very best. Elizabeth
Your research and shopping videos are similar to a haul video but more informative if you add in the research and shipping. We literally see the entire process 1 item goes thru with you. I appreciate the time, effort and knowledge you put forth. 👍🏽
The black plates under the handles are made in France and collectable (me) and worth while buying at the right price! New sub, and I kept saying buy it buy it and you did! And if not for resellers who else would come and buy such quantities on a regular basis 🤷🏼♀️
Glad this was a good haul, thanks I learn a lot from you. Do some hauls so I can learn Morell what’s things are worth. I live in Northeast Ohio. Tuscarawas county to be exact. But I’d travel to some higher end sources 👍🏻
I picked up 4 esspresso (little) cup & 4 saucers, Grace Teaware, for $.75 for the set. Sold it for over $20 for the set of 4. They were a yellow butterfly set. Very pretty.
I have the exact black metal holder......It holds knives, forks, spoons, also paper plates on the one side and napkins on the other side. I use it camping....
I got a place setting for 24 of the Franciscan Dessert rose at my thrift store for 50 dollars , I split it up into 3 eight place settings each and sold each for 200.00 on facebook market place so I made 550.00 off it . It was about being in the right place at the right time the thrift store had just gotten it in and I spotted and offered 50 bucks to take it all . Its not a goodwill .
@@TheNICHELady it was right next to the red vase you picked up at the 10:10 mark. Just curious if there was something wrong with it, I thought you might at least look at it and see if it was signed.
SO glad you picked up the wooden bowl with the handle. It is signed and looks in nice shape. I have noticed that the well made wood pieces are starting to have prices tick up online. But they are mostly all marked and artist pieces like what you found. The whole time, at the 9 minute mark, I am talking to the screen going fish...fish...fish... I wanted to know if they were chalkware or vintage porcelain as that stuff sells! Those toucans were great.
The holder you put in the top of the cart looks like a holder for a cook out. The 4 cups in the middle for spoons, forks, knives and straws. Then one side for paper napkins and the other side for paper plates.
I would love a video of your haul but esp. if you lay it out somewhere besides the store. Nothing fancy! Always curious about artwork values even popular art!
It’s incredible how u can find so many great items all in 1 trip . The parrot , and the bird made of wood ( great ) . The plates, I would think would be a pain to ship , but must be worth it . 🙂
Hi! Enjoyed the ride along - Goodwill and others now seem to have their own "Re-sale" shops - hired folks that know how to price and list and now sell the better items on line themselves - I've not found one of these shops yet - haven't looked it up - too busy following you around the stores - lol, but have heard and read several places that they do exist - will this put us out of business? or make it that much harder for us? welcome all competition but... :)
Have you ever asked a thrift store for a discount. Just wondering. I have because they have granted it before but I think it depends on the chain and who's working.
How much of your inventory never sells? and how much of it takes many months to sell? Do you ever donate the fails back to the thrift store? Is there much of a market for 70s clown decor--maybe in a home bar? It's nice that you have a booth too. Please give us a tour of your booth. Thank you for this educational video. I appreciate that you are an animal lover.
I have done a tour of one of my booths, definitely time to do a more recent one! It's a mix, some things sell within a week others a month and then others take months usually when I put them on sale. I do donate some stuff back yes, but also like to do yard sales as well!
The bird teapot. Darn Goodwill, you’d think they are retail having a sale. Would love 💕 a tour of your listing room and any listing tips or organization. Whatever you’d like to share!
You are my go to girl. We may not always have the same taste but you are never boring. On a personal note , I can’t help but wonder how cute 😊 you would look 👀 with short hair and smaller eyeglass frames. Thank you for your sense of humor and enthusiasm. I may watch other things but I always come back to you.
The prices at your Goodwill give me hives. I would hate to live in that area. I'd never go thrifting at those prices. I am so spoiled here. You are brave to take that store on time and again. I'd walk out and never go back. Their prices are greedy.
"Resellers are a huge part of thrift store business" to quote you Danni, that's how I feel and I'm not even a reseller. That's why I can't understand why thrift stores go to such lengths to put their price tags over makers marks so they can't be seen! It's ridiculous.
I so agree I do not even understand why they put price take over the items label, I move it out of the way or peel some of it off or whatever I need to do but it's ridiculous
You and Tiffany are my regular people I watch.
That stand you picked up is for plates, silverware, and napkins on a buffet.
That's what I thought,glad I was right.
Thank you!
I would love to see a video tour of your listing room and how you organize your inventory! And yes to haul videos.
I love your channel. It’s very relaxing to watch

Boy I would've had to get the tucan teapot it was awesome especially you already have the other pieces...I hope you can maybe get it latter🙃🙃
You can see how torn I was!
The basket thing you got after the 2 tier basket, you put cutlery in the round parts and napkins in the sides, very lovely, love you posts

In Toronto they shut down the bins Goodwill outlet because of inappropriate financial management! How can that even happen with donations? 🤦♀️
