This was just a little while ago before the pandemic, but it was nice to be able to get back to doing activities with some friends, especially if the activity involves visiting a buffet. We decided to go for a drive in Dave's Tesla and headed up to our local mountain, Whistler. It was a great drive to the mountain, and awaiting us at the top of Whistler was a fantastic buffet. Prime Rib, Seafood, and all the good eats one can wish for, and it was made even more pleasant when connecting with good friends.

My mother grew up in a Brooklyn [N.Y] Irish family where butter was considered a required, separate vegetable. My family makes fun of me with my butter use -love it on coffee cake, muffins etc. I was so glad I am not alone Tim with your serving of butter with a side of corn cob to go with it, whipped cream on top of the Boston Cream pie etc. Reminds me of home. That was awesome, Tim! I have never been up to Whistler, but I did have brunch on Grouse Mountain many years ago. There is something special about dining way up there, where the air is thinner, and the views are spectacular. Your dinner looked really delicious. Thanks!
Grouse mountain is certainly a beautiful place also and I do go up there quite a bit for the hikes... (and the beers at the top)😋

I really miss coming up to B.C., but I completely understand and agree with the border closures. The food looks so good, socializing without masks and being with friends. For what was available EVERY option looked top notch....that Boston cream pie with whipped cream looked like an addiction I couldn't pass up lol

Thanks for the video Tim! I went to Whistler mountain nearly thirty years ago as a kid. It's a beautiful area. Hopefully they remodeled the lift since then. :-)
