- 👋🏽 Hello! Welcome to episode 2 of my housing journey series.✨
🫠 From dull and boring to bright and exciting! 🌞 Follow me on this journey as I take you from start to ALMOST finished, through the kids' bedroom transformation.🦋 This is now a room that my children adore. From picking the perfect paint colour to accessorising with enchanting details, that my children will cherish forever. 🤍
Doing this on a budget meant it was going to take time and the corners were more-time going to be cut, 🫣 as I was determined to do as much myself, with the help from my incredible best friend, who I really couldn’t of pulled this off without and my amazing dad, who really got me seeing my vision come to life, taking the first major step in painting the whole room to a blank canvas. 🥰

@@juststoppingby390 😂 He did a really great job of getting it off the walls, he’d wake up early and go to bed late just to get through it
I moved into mine 10 years ago it had that woodchip wallpaper I was 21 stupid and just painted it when people told me it was a nightmare it's gone n I've had the room replastered since but what a difference I wish I had your motivation when I moved in ❤ your doing absolutely amazing

Thankyou so much! I think I was overwhelmed with excitement to just get going with it. Glad I kept up my motivation even through the ugly wall stage. Happy to hear you managed to get your walls re plastered. That’s something I wish I had extra funds to do, but with that being said I know I’m a few years as the kids grow they’ll want more of their personality in their room so I’ll most definitely save to add in that step the next time I decorate it ❤️

just watched P1 and P2 of your CH move in video's, you should be so proud of yourself, you've done a fab job and are clearly a fantastic mum. what a great group of friends you have also, you are all very lucky to have one another. all the best for the future

Did you paint the skirting board with gloss or emulsion?
It was the Dulux Matt Emulsion - Overtly Olive. It’s held up really well and cleans nicely without stripping any paint away x

Thank you so much! I got them from one of those shops that sell everything, like a bargains store. The one that has like mops and brushes and balls and stuff outside the store. Hope that helps ❤️❤️❤️❤️
