The thing that you were saying about the Aston Martin Vantage tachometer being bugged, its not. IRL, some GT cars don't tell you to shift at redline, they tell you to shift a little bit lower because that's where the peak torque is and they will accelerate better
I agree that the game is not great and its boring, but if you think of Xbox players, this is the best simrace for controllers we have, ACC on controller is not good, so this is the best next thing, sorry we don't have GT7 :(
Tje reason the astons shift lights are off is because it is used for endurance racing and they also need to be more fuel efficient, happens with a few other endurance cars in other games like ac

I love Motorsport so much as my first Xbox game was Motorsport 4 with no dlcs or updates or online I beat the story mode like over 10 times which is why I try to enjoy this game but honestly it’s so bland and you can’t immerse your self in it at all
Fm is such a huge downgrade . No city maps..They lied about the graphics , lied about drag, drift , lied about car sounds in their trailers and sad that fm7 had 30+ game modes while this only has 6 💀

The stupid thing about not fixing the "chassis"-mounted 458 wing (RIP i cri evry tim) is that, if my knowledge of Assetto Corsa car models applies here, all they had to do is move the wing model for the chassis wing to be parented under the car body rather than the engine bay lid. In AC I had to move an antenna I added to a car in the wrong place, since it was on the boot lid and did not open with the boot (although to be fair I still can't figure out animating things like doors so whatever)
The wheel physics are tons better plus no more irritating tyre wall chicanes and the AI are behaving better as time goes on to name a few, so as an Xbox wheel and track racer I'm just glad it's gets better even though their pre release lies are un excusable.
Eh for the AI idk Like rn with the new update, i find them more difficult to pass which is nice but they seem to be very aggressive and pushing you off or sticking to your car in the straights to get to their racing lines more so than before I don't think it's a very good improvement overall imo but need to try it a bit more
I feel like with the reward cars they should have available in the show room as well. Because say if someone misses the opportunity to get it as a reward you should be able to just buy it through the showroom. That’s what makes me no sense to me the fact that the cars come in as a reward which is fine sure no problem with that at all. But they should also put those exclusive I guess you could call them in the showroom for those who say missed out the first time.

@@bungwohliocars from gt sport didint need to be remade because the ones in sport was actully already built from scratch, fm suffers a lot from many outdated car models, and the problem is not just that they are outdated they are plenty of inaccurate models still left in fm since like 2005. Gt sport ended up with 338 cars, 336 carried over to gt7, there is another 200 cars thats is included in gt7 that was not in sport, and those are also built from scratch. Unlike fm, gt7 started with way more tracks from day one, and have got tracks in updates that never been in the gran turismo franshise before, fm updates has not got any new to forza tracks so far, and proably never will.

i kinda get the low player count, it's rare to have a game where you feel like racing online in A or S1 and not being able to just start the game and do that for certain weeks >.> it's okay when it's R or P but when it's X it's just pick a old F1 car or be leading the pack....that's trailing behind the F1 cars >.> my toyota eagle MK3 is pretty dialed in but it's just not enough to pose a challange, maybe hold a fire to the rear of the slower F1 cars :P and B and lower just kinda doesn't scatch my itch...9 out of 10 races
Honestly i quite like both Motorsport and Horizon, it might just be cuz i dont play either of them every day (i also play cod, seige and pokemon) but i recently bought a wheel and i really do enjoy both games

The Aston Martin with the shift light issue. Just wondering but was the car modified? Because if you for example did cams you wouldn't be able to use the internal dash system. This is why I run a dash on my phone because once you do any modifications that increase the RPM range you break the internal dash in the car. I just put my phone or Chromebook where the dash in the game is. Phone if I'm on my PC and chromebook if I'm on my 100" screen with the Xbox.

the problem with forza motorsport is that the only form of content is just racing. nothing beside it to validate. the racing is aimless. and singleplayer is just grindy and the ai are uninspiring to say the least.

This game is a dud unfortunately. Beyond being delivered late and filled with bugs, it seems like they were out of touch with what qualifies as a AAA racing game on "next gen" hardware. This may have worked in the days of super arcadey stuff like Project Gotham racing or something, but definitely not today. I think "back to the drawing board" is a better tagline for how this turned out.

I dk if bugged or just out of practice after a week not playing, but all my tunes I was using before this my self made ones , feel off mainly from a traction/grip standpoint. Anyone else?

If you go into the Ferrari 458 GTC they just copied and pasted the sound from the 488 GTE instead of the actual 458 engine….disappointing developers🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
When exactly are we getting promised features like drag racing and whatnot that was promised? It’s been nearly a year and not a single word on it. I gave up on this game.
This game is a dud unfortunately. Beyond being delivered late and filled with bugs, it seems like they were out of touch with what qualifies as a AAA racing game on "next gen" hardware. This may have worked in the days of super arcadey stuff like Project Gotham racing or something, but definitely not today. I think "back to the drawing board" is a better tagline for how this turned out.
