- Once again, Gloob has come out with the goods. The first half of the Kwami's Choice two parter: Transmission. And yeah, this is a pretty good episode. I've always enjoyed the episodes where the miraculouses get swapped up, and season five has had one or two of those already, so i'm quite happy in that regard. But yeah. This episode was... a bit over the top at times, but still fun. But regardless, my thoughts and more within.
Dude, the "leaving homework with another student to bring home to the sick one" is 100% actual, common practice in France. I'd know; I'm a Frenchman who's been on either end of that situation plenty of times when I was a kid.
I live in america and when i was little i was sick and my sister had to bring home my classwork
And speaking of school I thought the summer in between 10th grade and 11th grade was what was going on in multiplication but you and the wiki said that it's summer in season 3 which means I kind of misinterpened it
In Germany it is the same...at least in my primary schools. In highschool I had to ask my classmates for notes and homework and catch on or the teacher would be mad. Exception was when it was the first day back in school after being sick.

honestly I feel like zoe was one of the only reasonable ones in that episode, Marinette was lying in her room depressed and instead of trying to comfort her her friends were like "yea thats help her get a boyfriend"
I was kinda hoping Luka would be the black cat holder but this was a nice surprise
Yeah this is the other reason why ms. Bustia's class are being bad friends to marinette not only because they are believing that stupid Lila over her they are also pretending not to see the problems they should have all came to her house to cheer her up instead of assting Adrian do all the work for them like they seem more focused on getting marinette and Adrian together than how much pain marinette is in seriously you guys your marinette's friends and Lila is a stranger how can you give more attention to a stranger than someone you know very well? And also how can you throw a party at a time like This? Marinette is in pain you should be saving her not throw a party while her "handsome prince" does all the work and Alya your marinette's best friend how can you try to force her to be adrian's girlfriend when she really is not in the mood? And how can you believe a stranger (Lila) over your BFF? Zoe has a lot more support of marinette than you and the rest of the class for example unlike the rest of you Zoe knew that when you love someone and there feeling sad or hurt you should go to them and try to make them feel better not make their handsome prince do everything for you if I were Zoe I would never throw a party or be in a good in mood when marinette is so upset also I think the reason she was rude to you all in sole crusher is not because of how forced she is into behaving like her sister I think she heard about Lila getting more attention than marinette and believing she has a crush on marinette she's decided that whatever group Lila and anyone who is her slave are in she's not joining in order to stay away from her and seeing she's worried about marinette feeling sick or hurt and not about her and Adrian coupling up I think she understands marinette and wants her to find her handsome prince in a way she feels comfortable seriously guys? Instead of getting your hopes up get to the bottom of this and like it's okay if you ship them but how can you make that an emergency over how depressed marinette is? Especially you Alya why don't you encourage marinette to get over Adrian instead of forcing her to be his girlfriend? Your totally a bad friend to marinette however despite that I am really happy to see you as a superhero again sense strike back

Yeah and unlike the previous heroes where there not the same gender it makes them look like a prince and princess oh and what I mean by the prince and princess part I mean they look like a really cute couple together you know when ladybug is open arms for cat noir I don't mean they dress like a prince and princess you know that wear crowns big dresses high heels and a big suit with scarabella and kitty noir sense their the same gender they can't fall in love with each other so they don't need to reveal THEIR identities to each other and speaking of falling in love alynino can't make the same ladynoir problem as adrianette because they are already boyfriend and girlfriend so they won't fall in love with scarabella and whatever nino's superhero name using the cat miraculous was going to be whoever maybe like the previous duo you know if the new ladybug and cat noir stayed and as if it was with Nino not Zoe to carfily remember how the old ladybug and cat noir were named "a couple" in prime queen and glacier 2? Well cat noir was actually frilled to "couple up" with ladybug while ladybug is just her ladyjerk of losing her cool of "coupling up" with cat noir and like now that neither of them are in love with the heroes the next time they are named a couple which is probably not going to happen this time both of them will reject the whole ladybug and cat noir being a couple thing the same for scarabella and whatever nino's superhero name using the cat miraculous was going to be if the duo is the same gender then there's no one to ship them not even the heroes unless it was a home excel couple but you know what I mean

One thing you missed- after the title card, Gabriel finds out that 2 specific alliance rings out in Paris sent out a weird signal… that came from Alya and Zoe transforming. He now knows who they are, which explains why the miraculous go back to marinette and Adrien

Although her costume is terrible (that green lipstick!), I liked that Zoe got some actual good characterization in her limited screentime in this episode. It was interesting to see her trying to be reasonable and look at Marinette's situation in a complex way, while Marinette's other friends were just pushing for it all to be solved already. This season, I feel like we've seen with Alya that although she loves Marinette and would do anything for her, she struggles to meet Marinette where she's at -- pushing her again and again to stop angsting and just be with Adrien. Zoe, like Marinette, has had her life shaped by the bullying she's experienced, and that seems to be making her more understanding of the ways in which Marinette lacks some of the self-confidence needed to believe that she could be worthy of someone else. It feels like we've been waiting for a stronger narrative payoff for why Zoe was added to the show last season -- I never hated her, but it didn't seem clear what narrative niche she was really there to fill -- so it seems like maybe this season we'll be seeing more of an evolution of who Marinette's closest friends are (Alya and Luka really growing their roles last season, and now Kagami and possibly Zoe becoming prominent), distinct from just her broader friend group who she isn't as close with on a one-on-one level. It seems like maybe Luka and Zoe are both more understanding of Marinette's vulnerability than the other characters are, and it's nice to see the ways that different people can add different things to someone's life.

You wish Alya and Zoe could continue as heroes longer? Did you miss that Monarch now knows their secret identities? They went into action with rings that could track their movements, a huge security failure. Tikki knows why Marinette doesn't use an Alliance, but she fails to pass this vital information on to Alya (and apparently to Plagg, because he never warns Adrien or Zoe). This disastrous mistake by the newbies makes this episode a net win for Monarch. It doesn't matter that "Mr. B" got defeated quickly, when he drew out such useful information.
Honestly we won’t know until later if they actually kept on the rings, as we don’t get to see Alya transform, only her accepting the role. We don’t see any interaction between Zoe and Plagg so he may have told her. Plagg didn’t need to tell Adrian not to wear it because he already didn’t want to.
@@myfavoritebunkerman_ I think we do know. At the end, the Amelie Alliance reports to Gabriel, "...data beyond normal human capabilities have been reported on two Alliances." Gabriel smirks and says, "Sometimes change is good."
In "Jubilation", Gabriel was able to ask for the registered user of the Alliance with abnormal data, getting Socquiline's name and address. He'll be able to do the same thing for Alya and Zoe, this time with no mistake. They are in trouble.
Well, they know that the rings track your movements but they don't connect that to Monarch because he shouldn't have access to that information in their minds. They would only be worried about Gabe and Kagami's mom seeing the strange movements
For one, I really do love how Natalie is stepping up and becoming a more mama bear to Adrien. Love her so much for that!
Second you forget that Gabriel has a weird tracking device on each Alliance ring so he’ll get pinged the moment a human is making out of the ordinary physical actions.
I feel like Adrien and Marinette were not COMPLETELY happy after their little cry session. I think that this was them trying to look on the bright side of things. However, I feel that they will end up missing their kwamis in the next episode. As for Zoe'soutfit, I actually like it, EXCEPT the random colours. I love the biker gloves, the suspenders, the jacket and everything else But why is she wearing three different colours? Orange eyes, green hairs and shoes, yellow trimming and suspenders. That's what ruined the outfit for me. It would look badass otherwise.
I like how Plagg was like "finally a girl with common sense" and picked Zoe.
This now means that, according to the wiki, as Marinette was the first ever female to wear the black cat miraculous, Zoe is the second female to ever wear the black cat miraculous, quite a big deal on my opinion. Also according to the wiki, Adrien was the second male to ever wear the ladybug miraculous
Also she already knew that alya was scarabella and it would be better for her not to know who the black cat miraculous was anyways incase you know she got akumatized and spilled the beans to gabe

It is very interesting to me that we've seen Gabe evolve from not wanting to cross the line of akumatizing his own son, to actively providing him the tools to become a more effective akumatized villain. I was never a Gabe Stan, but damn. Just when you think he couldnt be a worse father!

(I could believe this ship if Chloe didn't act horrible toward her. )
I don't say it's healthy. But Chloe x Ladybug is kinda cute and a bit toxic. (In S1-2-3. After that it's just %100 toxic and harmfull.)

Then why did he even try in Elation, he still tried then also that’s not the point. The point would’ve been making a villain that Chat Noir wouldn’t want to fight or something since he knows of his feelings for her (hopefully this piece of info is used next episode but alas probably not, guess we gotta wait til episode 13 or 14 for this)
I don't think that matters much, the one who has a ring can make it more powerful with some miraculous power, but Gabriel can make powerful villains in itself

huge thanks to ms bustier and nathalie for being the most sane characters in this entire show. sure they can be weird sometimes (or a bit more than sometimes tbh) but compared to other characters in this series they're gigachad girlbosses
The show is basically 1% story 99% plot armor
Part 1 of the Kwamiis choice 2 parter was pretty ok. The reasoning for Tikki and Plagg to rescind their Miraculouses from Marinette and Adrian to give to 2 new holders just to let their now previous owners date is so selfless and sincere for them to do, but I wasn't too keen on why Plagg just instantly picked Zoe to be the new Cat Miraculous holder, and to see Anasi's potential new love interest be the villain in this episode and have 5 Alliance rings on him is kind of a boss move to pull off. Scarabella and Kitty Noir worked almost too well as a unit and Zoey should've had more fleshed put moments of her adapting the power of Plagg in her own way. The fact that Gabe is now willing to akumatize Adrien, his own son, really shows the depravity of his being and the lengths he's willing to go to save himself and Emile and Natalie and that nothing now isn't off the table for him to utilize. Hopefully Part 2 can further delve into how Adrinette slowly starts to mend and then fleshes out
I really wish we had more zoe because now it seems like she's just added in because plot. Ot would've made more sense for kagami to become the new chat noir because of her development this season, or luka because of his development last season
I think it makes sense that Zoe was so good at being cat noir because she's had a lot of practice as vespiria and she's smart

@@MrCupcakeMonkey I don’t think it makes sense. It’s one thing to be vesperia and another to be CN. It really makes you wonder, why did master Fu pick Adrien and Marinette and not Alya and Zoe? Or any random person in their class. Heck, if these two can be so effective then Adrien and Marinette were the worst choice because they let their feelings get in their way. If Zoe and Alya can do the job just as well, then why aren’t they the main heroes? The writers should have had them fail, showing why LB and CN must be there and must sacrifice their lives for the greater good. That is the burden of a hero.
It's consistant with Lies that they are able to hang out in the art room even though they are loitering in the school. The Janitor told Adrien and Kagami they couldn't hang out in the school before Fencing, but he didn't stop them from hanging out in the art room. I conclude that being allowed to party in the art room unsupervised is consistent with past episodes.

6:30 this was probably a joke, but I’m pretty sure Zoe got sad/worried (not pissed off) about Mari and that no one is checking up on Mari. Not that she’s jealous because of adrinette. So in a sense she’s the mvp here, at least compared to the rest of the class
This was a really strong episode. Liked it a lot!
I would give it 9.5/10
-The ending was crazy, like WOW..., and yet again Alya is in danger, Alya just can't get a break, I swear...💀😭😂
-The Nathalie moments were really strong as usual. No matter what happens, Nathalie is always the queen..., the writers are REALLY good with her character!🎉
-I also really enjoyed the conversations between Plagg and Tikki, that was really cool..., and i also thought the reason why Nino didn't get the cat miraculous was quite understandable...
-Gabe is really really smart this season ngl..., those alliance rings are dangerous, for real...
-This new concept of those post-credit scenes is really good in terms of building hype, so I honestly can't wait for the next episode...
-Ngl, I kinda like Zoes outfit...😂🤷🏻♂️
The akuma battle in general was really good and dangerous at the same time..., just good stuff, I just wanted it to be longer tho...
-Can we talk about the fact that Gabe literally tried to akumatize his son twice🤣🤣, wtf is happening...(got quite mad at that, ngl)
-The animation was fantastic, I really appreciate it!!!🔥
-It was really nice to see Scarabella again... and she did a great job...👍🏼
-I also really like the fact that Alya and Zoe kept the miraculous..., I was afraid that this might be another Kuro Neko scenario in which it only takes place within one episode..., glad I was wrong..., i wonder what's going to happen next in order for Marinette and Adrien to get their miraculous back...🤔🤔
The only reason why I can't give 10/10 :
I felt like this episode was a bit rushed..., especially in terms of the emotions/feelings of Adrien and Marinette..., they changed their feelings so fast which did surprise me a bit..., and I also expected Marinette to react a bit differently after losing Tikki..., she was happy so quickly which did concern me a bit😂, some stuff was just a bit rushed..., but I still loved the episode overall...

Personally I liked the episode, but I would have liked to see an interaction between Zoe and plagg, and I think the latter would have deduced that she was a vesperia, because of some dialogue on Zoe's part that says something like :"wait, you're the same as pollen, a kwami" I would have liked an interaction like this
Technically Marinette never relinquished any of the miraculous since most of the miraculous she lost were stolen, therefore not erasing her memories then Tikki and Plagg decided their holders should be free from their responsibility as miraculous wielders to live out their love life.
I would just like to take some points here,
1st, Renouncing Kwamis: Marinette and Adrien didn't renounce their kwamis therefore no doubt on why Tikki and Plagg didn't shimmers back to their respective Miraculous.
2nd, New ladybug holder: even if Marinette is the guardian and Ladybug, she can still give away or lend tikki to other users without passing her role as guardian to someone else and forget everything just like how Master Fu lend Wayzz to Nino and Marinette lend Tikki to Alya.
3rd, Kwami's choice: without renouncing, kwamis can find or select new holder by themselves with consent from the guardian or from their previous holder like Plagg with Cat Walker.

@@kamil6419 for Marinette, it made sense she felt sad for a little bit and regain since she knew that she still the guardian and in any given time the new holder needs the guardian Tikki and Marinette will reunite again, whereas Adrien, it made no sense to feel happy just right after giving away plagg since its their last time seeing each other. Admittedly I adore Kitty Noire's design quite a bit (come on, that color scheme, the *layers* instead a generic one-piece skinsuit! 💕)... but it definitely has the same issue as Catwalker where it slaps as a 2D concept, and gets butchered by the 3D and lighting 😞
The problem with Zoe's costume is with this mess what is going on on her head - neon lipstick, green ends of the hair and orange eyes. Everything just clashes together so much. Besides of it, suit looks very cool.

I'm ok with this episode. The biggest problem I have with this episode is the same problem I had with 'Destruction': The name
For an episode named after the 3rd most important power and kwami, we realy didn't see much of Gabe and Nooroo. I realy wished we had an episode about Nooroo and his take about it. Maybe he can interact with the other captured kwamis, maybe he can try to escape, maybe he can use his power on his own, ... . I realy feel like this is a missed opportunity
This was a good episode but I'm confused on why they weren't feeling the slightest bit depressed after they gave up their kwamis? They'd never be able to see their kwamis again or their partner who they've seen everyday for the past 9 months? And Adrien wasn't sad because he was Chat Noir? Or was he just worried that if he tried spending time alone with Marinette and there was an akuma attack he would have to leave her to transform? I'm soooo confused. Also Zoe's costume looks terrible.
I don't think they believe it- I mean, really. this isn't even the first time they've worried about giving them up or actually giving them up.

I wonder what would've happen if cat noir just outright said he was adrien at that exact moment. How much of a butterfly effect would that have changed the show.
Gabriel NOW willing to akumatize his son makes sense for a simple reason, he's become that desperate. Back in Glaciator 2 he showed under normal circumstances he wouldn't touch his own son, with the exception being if he found out that he was Cat Noir. Now both his son's main guardians are living on borrowed time, meaning he needs the Miraculous NOW to achieve his goal, for his son's safety and his own.

Marionette’s parents bring so much pleasantry to the show in comparison to the crazy friends trying to hook their friends up. Like seriously, the biggest issues they had with their daughter were boundaries and crazy grandparents.
Just wanted to point something about about the Timeline of the show.
- Despite the fact that some days of screen, we know (it's officially been confirmed in- and outside of the show) that HawkMoth has been at large for less than a year.
- We also know that some lines that contradict this 'less than one year timeline' are wrong. A good example of this is in the episode 'Ephemeral' where Gabriel indeed says he has been trying for 100 weeks, but that's ONLY because the number 100 is the theme of the episode, it's not actually true.
- Also keep in mind that some episodes trick you into thinking that time has moved on longer than it has, like it snowing in 'Chrismaster'. Obviously it was an akuma-effect, not natural snow.
It was 100 days i things, but this show and the timeline are messy af

I think it is June in the show currently, as the finale, The Last Day, seems to be for the "last day" of the school year before summer.
It's probably because of how it was transferred. Master Fu gave Ladybug the box, not Marinette directly. We saw this play out when Felix snapped Ladybug out of existence with the Blood Moon, the power of the miraculous treated Ladybug as having replaced Marinette.
So unless the next Ladybug renounces being the Guardian, the Guardian no longer goes with the amnesia

"Qilin" and "Dearest Family" by themselves generate a major time gap. Quilin takes place a few weeks after Mother's Day (May), and Dearest Family is on King's Day, in January. This can't overlap with Season One's "Dark Cupid" because of the magic charm and megakuma plot sequence . We just have to accept the timeline is messed up.

This episode entirely felt like one of those fanfiction’s because of the formula being like the exact same Mari is down in the dumps after getting rejected by either Adrian or cat noir not knowing they’re both the same, or Get sick after fighting in Akuma in the rain and then Miss bustiers sending homework, and Adrian bring it to Marinette them falling in love, and then finally finally getting together and then Identity reveal, but that doesn’t happen here but a little more cringe because of the stalker stuff which is never in the fics
As for the timeline thing, in the episode "Felix" in season 3, Plaag mentions that he was maturing or preparing a piece of cheese for over 500 days. NEARLY 2 YEARS! There is no way he was preparing it before he was given to Adrien, sooo....
