Yes the ones with the tabs are just fine. Never use the ones that are sleeves. Those actually touch the disc surface, then the contamination of the disc surface begins. Because everytime you remove and return the disc back into the sleeve, cotton or plastic even those paper ones. Over time this will contaminate the disc surface, such as dirt dust will scratch the surface. I have ruined so many discs using that method of storage.
I just got rid of most all of our DVD cases because they take up SO much room. I was planning on just putting them in a CD binder case but I actually like the Staples binder system much better. I love that you added the sheet telling what was in each binder and have them specific to the kids dvds, disney, ect. Love love love it!!!
well, i've been researching ideas to organize my dvds. people say the colored plastic sleeves that your using...leaves residue on the disks. has that happened to yours? if so, what did you switch to?
NOOO ! don't throw your artwork, your collection is worthless to sell on, use www.slim-disc.com to save space, see the demo : th-cam.com/video/lBPjYBpZ-Ms/w-d-xo.html
This is not a very good idea. Over time the the covers will scratch the DVD'S due to dust and other contaminants that adhere to the DVD'S. And all those covers release a chemical residue over time due to temperature changes, and will leave that on your DVD'S and games. Not recommended for serious collectors.
@@leesas_classics1722 It's not recommended trust me. I've been there and done that. I've ruined hundreds of dvd's games and cd's storing them like that. Better to store them in there original case's.
The one with the tabs is really cool, I like that a lot. It's even more minimal than the binder -- I love how compact it is, and it's cute 🥰

Good advice for casual viewers, but for geeky collectors like me, I stick to my cases with nice artwork & superior protection of the discs/tapes.
Thanks Mandi Cresswell, it really is a great system for little kids :) It is amazing how much space dvd cases take up! Thanks for watching my video :)
I recently did this for my music cd collection and I chucked the cases. It makes everything so much easier.

k?
Great, you got talent.
as and adult I prefer the method for the kids for myself Lol 😂 I would probably be just as bad with leaving them on the floor 🤭😂☕
It saves space sure. But every-time you are looking for a movie every movie in the binder is getting wear and scratches on them vs. in the cases.
duh
Stinky Crayons
No cases!
A serious no-no for DVDs
I'd probably put them in sandwich/freezer bags
I should literally find some binders to store my DVD releases (Barbie, Disney, The Loud House, etc)
...curses, I'm getting ready to buy another big case ...my 3rd one..but good idea, I just collect comedy and horror

Amy B It's a true fact.Do not store your dvd'S this way. It's not worth it..
John Allen you can store bluray in it fine tho
Store in “slimmer” dvd cases. Save more space by 20% at least
The Caillou DVDs have eone Family?
Ever seen This cartoon Is called Pinky Dinky Doo
great.. nice idea.. thanks
I'm in proto
Probably one of the worst ways to store your DVDs or CDs. I learned in the 90s how easily discs become damaged while being stored in binder sleeves.

@@leesas_classics1722 Just a suggestion.. Thank You for your reply
I had no space so I had to use these binders, yeah you might ding em but the space is worth it.
