I just watched this and I’m thinking I really need to do this . I think I have about 5 placed that have dvds in them , and I know we don’t watch most of them. Great idea for something I can doo in a few weeks when it gets closer to winter here
Id recycle the bonus dvds or use them for DIY projects (maybe homemade wreath ornaments for christmas gifts). Maybe your local rec center or elementary school teachers would want them for projects.
I love the color coding idea but I personally would then alphabetize the movies in each "color" to make it easier to find the specific one you are looking for.
@@TheGoldProject That would cause a problem. I would toss the extra's disc. We purchase BluRay which usually comes with a DVD copy, I give these to my cousin as they have 4 boys and his wife doesn't work so they live off one small income. Have a great day.

Yes I got a buddy that’s a collector it’s sort of a hobby, never been into collecting personally, aside from my action figure collection when I was a kid lol
I freaked out about 20 years ago when I heard that photo albums could ruin your photos, so I pulled all my organized photos out of albums and have yet to reorganize them. ☹️ As far as DVDs and movies go, I would probably get rid of them all if it weren’t for the fact that my husband is allowed an opinion on the matter. 😂

We have ALOT of DVDs and VHS. It's overwhelming! We basically have our own Blockbuster at home😂

The second disk is sometimes the digital copy so throw away the first disk lol.
Ripped copy > digital copy.

Do you think you’d ever leave teaching and do TH-cam full time if you could make it work financially?
I am really not sure. TH-cam is definitely not stable income. It fluctuates from month to month.
