How to change your R56 Mini Cooper S Rocker Cover and check the Timing

We are back again! This is unheard of! Our 3rd video in 2023 is an installation video for a new part we will be listing shortly for aluminium rocker covers (in a colour of your choosing!) if we can get the quality correct!
These aren't currently for sale in our shop but will be in the coming months so keep your eyes peeled on our TH-cam and socials :)
I really hope that you like this video - we really enjoyed working together to record and edit! Definitely one of the easier modifications to do and not crazy expensive either! But they make in our opinion a MASSIVE difference to the looks of the engine bay!! As always if you need a hand with anything please do get in touch with us on the socials below - including install at our workshop facilities in Chelmsford Essex (we promise not to kick your wheels hahaha) :)

Watched this when the video came out and been checking the website almost daily now to see if its on sale yet as i definitely need to get one im relatively new to the mini world ive owned my r55 cooper s for about 6 months now and found your channel on here ive had a few issues with the clubby but watched a few videos and done most of it myself ive just changed my rocker cover and gasket but definitely need this one on there also i just watched your intercooler video definitely getting that aswell thats for the videos 👍

Your forgot to add silicone in those moon corrners on right side..it tends to leak there overtime if there is not silicone otherwise perfect video :)

Hi do you change valve stem seals by any chance, thanks

No news, we are having issues with the PCV system at the moment so wont be bringing them to market for a little while unfortunately. I will do an update video at some point for this! Thanks so much for watching, Miriam xx

Any updates on how well this has worked out after running it for half a year?

@@ModAMiniGarage unfortunate, ive seen that comment a few places on that brand. i did just order one from a diff company tho so maybe it's not gonna be the same with a different sticker on it 💀
What happened with the bung you mentioned at the start of the unpacking?

Defo buy the bolt kit the standard ones rot and look terrible just on the standard cover
