Auckland is a huge city for it's population size, there is so much more then just walking through downtown!!

You both look so much more relaxed then when you first got here. Seems the kiwi way of life has rubbed off onto you that easy going kiwi vibe. Loved keeping up with your journey around our beautiful country and glad you enjoyed it. Come back again for another taste of paradise. Nau mai hoki mai nga wa katoa (Welcome back anytime)

Btw the birds on the wall were the extinct Huia, not Tui, but the color of the wall did make it hard to tell the diference. As an Aucklander I have to say its not great for tourists unless you have someone who can show you around to the good spots, but yea the CBD isn't great and we have a lot of work to do to make the city nice (which probably won't happen for a while because of the current government). But thanks for visiting! And I'm glad you were able to find someee good parts.

Auckland is great but the CBD is dying, thank you for putting a good spin on it but there is an awful lot of work to be done as evidenced by the amount of shut stores you captured. It hasn't recovered from the double whammy of the CRL and Covid but people should not come to Auckland for the shopping, it has so much more to offer than shopping and buildings. You should have gone to Waiheke or done a wine trail out west, checked out the Hunuas or the West coast so many great experiences.
