Dennis seems like such a cool down to earth guy, you can tell he wants to share his knowledge. Seems like everyone in that shop really enjoys their work environment and respects Dennis. Good to see someone that has money be so down to earth and still gets his hands dirty from time to time

Best TH-cam channel ever. I love Jeeps, especially Wagoneers. Believe it or not there were a lot in the city (SF) when I was a kid in the early 80's. No car or truck feels like the holiday season like a Wagoneer. My classmates dad was a 777 check pilot and always had a couple of Wagoneers around.(he also owned a Gullwing) He had quite a few problems with his 83 limited and eventually in the early 90's switched to 454 Suburbans. Great memories with those old Jeeps. I believe they owned a 78 with a 401 that just seemed to steadily lumber up and down the hills of the city. There was a time when a Grand Wagoneer and a Buick Grand National would be parked next to each other in the city. Now we have poop and needles on every side walk and Teslas on the street.

I loved my jeep but sold it.... when your land where you are building your cabin can only be accessed by boat or plane, and most of the trails there are too narrow for the one lone three wheeler there, having a boat becomes important and having a jeep becomes trifling.

Dennis...I got a question....my brother had 33 years in the air force in Georgia...he got killed in florida at bike week 3 years ago. Then my mom gave up 6 months later. She helped me buy a brand new 85 Toyota pickup. It has 42,495 on it..never seen a winter in ny. I SWEAR!!!...its starting to scale and in cant afford a Downey's glass box or a some what restore. Frame is mint it's all under coated. I did it out of high school. My mom was a machinists and she made my body lift in it and it has a 7" sky jacker suspension....my dream is build the motor up(not blower or supercharger just carb. lifters, higher compression piston rings, header) and put a 12" lift with 44's and change out the diff gears for the 44's and just paint it. Has all smittybuilt nerfbars, bumpers and rollbar. Has a sunroof and lund visor. I wanted a inside rollbar... didnt get that far cause I got a DWI and paid for it sitting next to my house. My dream is to do this up in memory of our worlds best mom and the services my brother gave us for almost 33 years. He was retired and hired back as a civilian. My brother wanted me to send the motor so he could get 600-1000hp. I'm like to much! I got hurt on the job and I cant afford this dream build. Or leave it at the 10" lift total with double shock kit...I'm easy to get along with. I want this thing done up in memory of both before it's to late. Its covered all the time..so if u know somebody that could please help!!!! I've had the truck 30+ years..I like stock builds. I just found a factory grill for it. It has a tube shown grill in it now. PLEASE HELP!!

    Is that a 6.2 replacing the 3.8?
I heard you say 6.4 , just wondering if that is a stroker kit in a 6.2 liter that would increase it to a 6.4
    The reason I'm asking is I have a 99 tj with a straight 6 cylinder 4.0
The 4.0 is peppy, but it doesn't sound like the Chevy LS engines.
Besides the horse power and torque.
And a good stroker kit in the 4.0 still wouldn't come close to an LS conversion.
