My Christmas train is lionel but 50 percent of my cars are either MTH with the rest kline or Menard's and I have zero issues with them. Heck my best pulling engine is a atlas.

BTW, Here's a serving suggestion: Get some of those Multifoods Airslides and some of those Weaver mechanical Reefers from a few years ago. Garnish with a Weaver brass Erie Lackawanna "Keyser Valley" caboose and you've NAILED my adolescence!!!!!!!!!

I regret not buying the beer car tank cars. I have a thing for tank cars, and those look awesome. I could have given one of each to my wife for our anniversary.
Atlas seems to be doing a great job keeping up with quality, the colors look great and the packing looks top notch also. I save all my boxes and swap out cars all the time so it’s important to have a sturdy box. The hi-cube cars are my favorite.

There are packing peanuts that are edible and smell & taste like popcorn.
Atlas uses those.

Those tank cars make me thirsty, but January 17th, 2025 is the date I'll be of age in the USA to consume alcohol.
Atlas O 3-rail couplers and trucks are a much better design and are stronger than LIONEL 3-rail trucks couplers.
