Yes!! Im a huge nerd and budgeting is one of my favorite things ever! I get super happy when I come in under budget. I even tracked all my expenses there while on my recent trip. Im super low maintenance, don't party , don't shop much and love nothing more then spending the day in the park. A boring life for some but perfect for me. I plan on retiring early in Thailand!😊
I set my budget high on purpose, that way I know I'll have a good amount of left over spending money because I never usually spend that budget anyways. Then I'll have carry over money for the next month, so far that has worked and I'm actually doing much better than when I got here. The health benefit for me alone was worth the move.
On a recent trip around the Isan region I also found Agoda to be the cheapest when booking accomodation online. On the food side, I found it almost impossible to find criossants that were not coated with sugar in the more outback areas. Thais sure love to coat things in sugar.
Hi again…….qu? Is the rainy season the best time to visit Thailand? My understanding is that there isn’t as many tourists and the prices are less? Any confirmation on that? Thanks Eric H
Best is subjective but for sire there are less people here and better deals. It also doesn't rain all the time and as long as you are flexible and maybe can take a longer trip so you have more time to enjoy it all, rainy season is cool.
how to find a community & friends though... bars are friendly places but it can be rabbit hole... friendship often means alcohol, these chess clubs, cycle groups seem to be the key where to find them?
Hello! thanks for a good info about thailand. but i have a question. all those freelancers you see at nanaplaza and everywhere in bangkok. how many percent are afraid of their own free will and work as street hookers. there is a lot of traficking and leagues that take care of this.. I book bkk nov-13 dec
Thank you for an honest, realistic video!
The saying I always tell people and live by, "The more disciplined in life that you are the more freedom in life you will have."

Good starting point. But what about business/income....?
Frugal is good but if no income at all, what do you do...?

Don't go to the bars everyday and also find some hobbys. And there is alot of good gyms in Thailand, EXERCISE!!

I can not answer that since it’s not something I’ve researched or taken a part of. My first instinct is they seem to be there of their own free will.
