    This is actually the best explanation I've come across so far.

    Hi Kayscience, I believe there is a mistake at 4:19 when the polyester is drawn, as the total number of oxygens doesnt add up. On the left there are 6 oxygens, whilst on the right there are 7 oxygens. Hence, I think the polyster drawn on the RHS should have on less oxygen (which could be taken off from the left or right side of the molecule, I believe).
    Many thanks

    A toy uses a spring to shoot an arrow with a suction cup on
    the end. The toy shoots a 34.2 g arrow and gives it a speed of
    5.50 m/s. If the efficiency of the toy is 69.0%, how much elastic
    potential energy was stored in the spring? Show all your work.
    Can you help solve this

      When the arrow is shot, 69% of all energy in the elastic potential energy (EE) store gets converted to kinetic energy (KE). Therefore, 0.69*EE=KE. The formula for KE=½mv² so 0.69*EE=½mv². m=34.2g=0.0342kg and v=5.5m/s so with substitution, 0.69*EE=½(0.0342)(5.5)². Simplifying this:
      0.69*EE=½(0.0342)(5.5)²
      EE=(½(0.0342)(5.5)²)/0.69
      EE=0.0342(5.5)²/1.38
      Calculator; EE=0.7496’7391304347826086956521’J (‘x’ means recurring)
      EE≈0.750J (3 significant figures)
      I may be a little bit late, but hope this helps! Let me know if I made a mistake.
