How do you do it…?! How do you help loads of people pass their GCSE’s by making amazing educational videos that aren’t just easy to understand but also explain a whole hours worth of a lesson in 5 minutes still with enough detail. I’m honestly amazed at how far I’ve come just going through my curriculum on your website. I actually look forward to revising now and as I’ve got my GCSE’s coming up this May I know I need to knuckle down but as long as I’ve got this dude i know I’ll pass no question. Thank you so so much 😊
Ah thank you so much Madeleine 🤩🤩 We wish you the best of luck with your exams!
These videos are brilliant - clear, concise and well illustrated. They include great tips and examples. I am able to understand the topics and help my son. Thank you👍🏼
Glad you like them 😊
Was doing this today in chemistry didn’t understand it well till now 🙏
yeah, me too
Thank you so much! We weren’t taught this topic because of lockdown, but my mocks (which we were just recently warned about- Thanks Boris!) are in a week, this is life saving!!!
Thanks T T, lockdown sucks but good luck with your mocks!! 🤞
Easy, straight to the point, short and helped me with the QCAA syllabus. Thank you!
I just wanna inform you that your videos have been extremely helpful to me and to others as well.
Chemistry was always my least favourite subject , I have IGCSE exams in 1 months time but these videos are soo easy to understand that I now know everything needed for the exams (and I actually like Chem now)......Thank you so much :)
Ah that's great to hear Enderman!! 😊
I have 1 month left 😭and ik nothing about chem will only watching cognito and doing past paper will help?
If I knew about this channel before I would only study the last month and score a DISTINCTION?!?!?!?!?!? THIS IS AMAZZZIZIIIINNNNNNGGGGG
This is a great channel
GREAT VIDEOS!! Just love the little "addishion" at 6:32
Great video. It proved to be immensely helpful ; may God bless you Sir .
Thanks Zain, glad we could help 😊
Great and magnificent teachers like you are not getting the appreciation they deserve more than ever. We would have been glad to pay you triple to for replacing our school teacher! ❤❤ May Allah bless you!!❤
i just have one thing to say: u r a lifesaver
thank you for the information, I want to apply the knowledge I learn today🤩🤩🤩
Ong, if it wasn't for your videos on addition and condensation polymers, I would completely fail my polymer question in my GCSE paper. Thank you so much
Watching this video just 1hr before my IGCSE Chemistry exam. So well explained, thanks team cognito for your effort❤️
i remember when you were at 257k!! your channel is growing so fast :)
this channel and its videos save me from my worst nightmare of failing in a chemistry test.
I have exams in a week, thanks so much for the explanation!
Best educational channel on TH-cam ........
Thank you so much 🙏
Thankyou Amarnath!! 🙌
Thankyou so much!! Cognito is a life saverr
These videos are brilliant! I am learning chemistry properly now that I am older. You explain things really well. Where were you many years ago? Ha ha, thank you!
Thank you so much for making these helpful videos. These are saving my grades

This is a gift from god.
very clear tyvm
This was very helpful thank u😊
So good!!
At 1:34 you said that it would take "forever" to draw out all the monomers, however this is not true, it would take a finite amount of time
🙄
Well spotted sherlock

thank you very much
Thank you!You are the best teacher over world!(I think😉
Thank you! 😃
could you not draw out poly ethene while having just one carbon and two hydrogen atoms per repeating unit? and then have 2n to the right of the bracket instead of n. or is there some sort of rule that prohibits this?
Explained amazingly!!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
oh this is a very nice and interesting video, thank you so much!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
That was useful thanks ❤

what software did you use to make these notes?
Does polymerization happen by involving other substance? Or it happen automatically when same monomers meet each other?
It does not need another substance to happen. Monomers (addition) have bonds that break open. There are now electrons willing to make bonds with anything. If they meet more monomers like theirs they are going to bind.
@@rab3795 ouu i seee
no
will you get told which monomer it is/ the name of the monomer when writing out tht equation?

in 06:10 min isn't the molecule name 1-butene ( not just butene)???
So the polymer name will be poly(1-butene) ???
Am I right?
Hi, you could call it but-1-ene, and so poly(but-1-ene), but you don't always have to give that level of detail.
Does bond angle matter in gcse
is this for triple science??
Ye x
3:25 why are two of his hydrogen atoms at an angle, does it matter?
No.. You can just normally do that
Exam in half an hour thanks 😂😂

bruh wtf this is so helpful
what do you mean by 'unsaturated'?
meaning that they have a carbon -_ carbon double bond . The term "unsaturated" means more hydrogen atoms may be added to the hydrocarbon to make it saturated
Unsaturated means that the carbon has a double bond (which is when it has the two lines in the middle of both the carbons) and this is what makes it an alkene. Saturated means that the carbon has a single bond which is what would make something an alkane-hope this was explained alright?
