So thankful you watched this movie! Its a great mystery revenge movie with brilliant elements of strangeness that makes the movie perfect. Glad you enjoyed!
42:43 Earlier in the movie, Woo-jin told Dae-soo that he has a pacemaker and asked his doctor to be able to stop its motor with that stick device (laser). Woo-jin apparently tricked Dae-soo because he knew he'd push the button to kill him if he came into possession of it, but it was just to play the audio of Dae-soon & his daughter together to pile on more torment for Dae-soo Anyways, I'd like for you guys to check out a TV show called 'Abnormal Summit' from S. Korea where this Egyptian guy was a panelist on the last season. He speaks flawless Korean & whenever you try to imitate Korean words during the movie, I'm noticing that the pronunciation is pretty good so maybe you guys are related or something, on a linguistic note (having talents in that arena)...ok aside from that being a lighthearted remark, the show is pretty entertaining & can be found on TH-cam so if you do want to check out (initially) just the season / episodes he was on, type in Samy Rashad & Abnormal Summit-
Dooode me and my Lil bro he 21 I'm female was 29 went to theater for remake. Only two in theater hadn't seen the original yet. Lmao that was a decision ha
Woojin Lee's older sister most likely suffered from a symptom called 'imaginary pregnancy', so she may not have actually been pregnant. However, Woo-jin was afraid that his sister might be pregnant, and he agreed to commit suicide, putting all his burdens on his sister. He put all the blame on Dae-su Oh and spent his life hating and seeking revenge, but in the end, he placed all the blame on his sister. In the end, I realized that it was Lee Woo-jin himself who left the burden and ran away.
Would like it if you and your dad react to this movies: 1) The Chaser - a dark thriller and one of the best korean thriller. My fav Ha Jung Woo in it’s best acting 2) Exhuma - Another Choi Min Sik masterpiece 3) Miracle Cell No 7 - it’s sad😢 4) New World - A gangster movie top stars in it Hwang Jung Min, Choi Min Sik, Lee Jung Jae
Absolutely love that you're doing this but I'm commenting only a few minutes in to say... I know your dad hasn't seen it but you don't say if YOU have seen it. I think it's always good to say "I haven't seen/I have seen" before the reaction 😊 About to finish the reaction and the most surprising thing is that (from this video) you don't know about phantom pregnancies? When the villain talked about oh dae-su's tongue/rumours getting his sister pregnant he was talking about a real phenomenon in which a woman believes they are pregnant and so their body begins to act like it's pregnant: release pregancy hormones, grow like a pregnancy. It's a real thing and because the pregnancy hormones are released then pregnancy tests show as positive and their belly grows. So it's totally true that his rumours made her believe she was pregnant and exhibit signs of pregnancy! Just finished and I loved this reaction! I highly recommend JSA: Joint Security Area (it's IMO the best Park Chan-wook movie, more than Oldboy, and would have won oscars if Korean movies were in the oscars back then) and 71: Into the Fire - a movie about the real story of 71 inexperienced highschoolers who had to fight off a bridage of the North Korean army for hours during the Korean war. They have a statue and holiday for those... children.
Yeah it's a shame that not a lot of reactors knew about phantom pregnancies, but again, there's the ambiguity. Was it an actual phantom pregnancy? Or did Woo Jin actually get his sister pregnant and is trying to deny it by shifting the blame to Dae Su? Another mystery never to be solved. I love this movie so much, there's so much to think about and it STICKS to you like glue. I had this movie on my mind for a whole week after watching it for my first time, couldn't stop thinking about it.
i recommend The Chaser (2008) a really good thriller feature my fav actor as lead, 1987: the day comes or Taxi driver (2017) if u wanna learn a bit about Korean history. And since u react w ur dad, i think it would be interesting if u guys react to a kdrama name Reply 1988 (my personal top 1 kdrama), its about family, friendship,....
One of my absolute favourite movies! The ending is just.... Okay. Does it really matter if either of them don't remember? For us as an audience it does, but... Anyways: I love to see people react to this movie, I'm a Norwegian living in Slovakia who loves Asian cinema and also languages so great to see this kind of content XD

Man, you NEED TO WATCH 'Mother(2009)', which is a film by Bong-junho. It's the best of korean cinema, and for sure best film of bong-junho!

한국영화 재미있었길 바랍니다..
I almost ate live octopus once
But i was scared it would stick itself to my troath and i would choke
You ACTUALLY watched it with your Dad? Very smart
Well I'm his son, not his daughter, so it's totally different 😂
That octopus was real and they had to shoot that scene two-three times
올드보이~
I recommend the movie (Gift from Room 7)
Make sure to watch Bong Joon Ho's movie "Memories of Murder"
You won't regret it.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You're on a Korean movie streak but no Bong Joon-Ho yet? Not complete without.
It says he's in memories of murder but I don't remember seeing him in it
@myegyptiandadreacts4824 He's the director
Bravo
